I wanted to say thank you to Rusty's Garage. We are fairly new to the area and I've seen a bunch of people post positive reviews. Last weekend my son went over his friend's house and they lowered his car (took them MANY hours to complete the job). Result: it was way too low...I told him it couldn't stay that way. Unfortunately I didn't have the skill to fix it and my son's friend didn't have the time, energy, or desire to help readjust the car.
Called Rusty's and asked if they could help me adjust the car to a reasonable height....they took us right in and got the car readjusted - same day service

Rusty’s garage is very professional and they will take pictures of exactly what is wrong when you get oil changed. As a single woman it is important to know when you are dealing with a mechanic with integrity. Look no further. Coupons and specials make the work affordable. They will take care of you. They even let me use a loaner car when my car needed a lot of work done.

My wife's van had something come up and started to run and idle rough. Was able to get it in at mid day on Thursday and they were able to get me a very detailed diagnostic (way more detailed than I have gotten at other places, but haven't had to take a car in a while). They were up front with me about the cost. I understood from the issues we were having that it could be expensive, but their hourly rate is actually very reasonable for the area. This auto repair shop was amazing! They went way above and beyond to help me. Charlotte in the office was helpful, answered all my questions, returned all calls and did a wonderful job for me. The mechanics do an extensive 60 Plus point inspection and diagnosis on my truck and emailed it to me for review. This report listed ALL items and rated repairs, in detail, by categories of passed, needs to be done soon or needs ASAP and explains why. I never got that from any other auto repair shop ever. Brought in a wheel bearing/hub assembly for Rusty's mechanic to separate from the knuckle using a press. They separated it all right but bent the knuckle badly in the process and charged me $85 for what was probably 5 minutes worth of work. The next day the owner texted me how their service was, so I told him. Silence. The least he could have done is offer me a partial refund for the substandard quality work done by his shop.

I cannot thank Rusty's and their highly professional staff enough for the job well-done and A+++ customer service. As a person who knows so very little about vehicle mechanics, repairs and dealing with repair shops can be very intimidating. It is with much apprehension that I write this review. After days of feeling inadequate and somewhat violated, I decided to move forward with this review. I am so disappointed that Rusty's Garage in the Woodlands TX, primarily, the owner, Pat, would price gouge after all the attention this is getting in the Houston media. I feel that you have not only scammed my family but you have also threatened my daughter with THEFT and to report her to the county. She never received a bill on services that would only include towing charges. You could have texted her a bill. You quoted her $100 or less

These people are not reputable. They tried to intimidate my daughter into paying $1400.00 for replacing a pair of radiator hoses and a radiator thermostat. When I heard about this attempt I personally called them and they repeated the scope of work and cost. At that time my wife and I removed the vehicle from their site. Later they intimidated my wife into paying $200.00 for a 15 mile tow. We are disputing this charge and reporting them to the BBB and the Texas AG office. Go elsewhere!

They tried to charge me 11 hours of labor for two radiator hoses and a radiator cap on a 2001 vehicle.
Their price for those things was $1436. They would not give me an itemized pricing list, which is illegal. I got estimates from separate shops for the same exact job, both totaling to under $300. Over 1400 for two hoses and a cap on a car worth maybe a thousand dollars.
They can and will scam you. Please please stay far away. I

So disappointed in my usual auto service, Rusty's Garage. They replaced the serpentine belt on my car last May costing over $500 (this was in addition to over $4500 in A/C repairs the last 2 years - that would have been cheaper to go to dealer to have replaced, and better warranty). Last night, the belt jumped groove and partially shredded. Took into Rusty's this morning - they said they would replace the belt that was under warranty, but needed over $350 more in addition due to "additional issues in relation to the belt" - so what was I charged for in

I drive 35k miles a year just in the Houston area, my vehicle is my livelihood. I will admit that I tried to ignore some of the sounds that were coming from my car, probably because I knew it was going to be expensive to fix my Infiniti.
