Sandi-kaye is fabulous! I've been going to her for almost three years, my hair always looks great and is the healthiest its ever been! She's extremely knowledgeable and the only person I trust with my hair. Before starting her own hair salon business, located in the Kentlands community, Gaithersburg, MD, hairstylist, Sandi-kaye received her first job as a shampoo assistant at the age of 15.
She didn't fully know what she wanted to do at the time, but the universe has a way of putting you where you need to be. As she looks back now 14 years later, she is amazed to see how far she has come. Her days aren't limited to the hair salon. Instead, she juggles her time working in environments where fashion, public figures and hair all collide.

Sandi is just beyond knowledgeable and professional natural hair care and healthy hair. She is so professional I walked in and she had me in her chair within 5 mins. It was good because I was the only client there and I did not feel rushed or uncomfortable being a new client. Sandi did a consultation on what my hair needs were and what we need to do to maintain the natural state and embracing of my natural hair care system. If you are looking for a professional stylist, reasonably priced that is into healthy hair you must try Sandi-Kai. She keeps my natural hair looking great. More importantly, she only takes one client at a time, giving her undivided attention to your crown. I’ve tried twist outs, wash and go, blow out, color, cut and finger coils. She never disappoints. My hair has strengthened under her care.

I can't say enough great things about Shyphenk and Ms. Sandi-Kaye. About a year ago I began bringing my girls to her (12 and 14, both with 4b and 4c). She worked miracles with their hair. Honestly, I was ruining their hair . She also guided me on how to maintain their hair during the height of the pandemic. Thanks to Ms. Sandi-Kaye, both my girls have beautiful, thick, healthy heads of hair.

Sandi is the consummate hair stylist, she handles her business like a Fortune 500 company and my hair is always flawless when I leave her chair. When Sandi started taking care of my hair, over six months ago, I was in the midst of transitioning from relaxed hair to natural hair. She expertly flat irons my hair, and has allowed me to maintain my hair's length and avoid "the big chop." She only works on one client at a time, and I am usually in and out of the salon in less than 60 minutes. Sandi provides 5-Star service.

I've been coming to see Sandi for my hair for literal years and never once have I been disappointed. Professional, skilled, gentle and friendly, she's all you could want in a hair stylist. My hair looks good and it holds its shape for an extended amount of time. And any question you have about your hair she'll answer honestly with a wide berth of knowledge that is still mind-boggling to me even now.
