Soaring Eagle Lodge Whidbey
The Soaring Eagle Lodge on Whidbey Island is a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This spectacular waterfront lodge overlooks the Puget Sound, Mount Baker and the beautiful Cascade Mountain Range. Enjoy stunning views throughout the lodge and along our 700 feet of bluff frontage with an adventure trail leading down to your own private beach.

Soaring Eagle Lodge is nestled on 5.3 acres of towering evergreen trees, 100 feet above the waters of Skagit Bay and the Puget Sound. The property takes its name from the majestic bald eagles that soar along the water's edge. Bald eagle nests are the largest of any bird in North America and we have a clear view of our eagle's nest from the Great Room.

My family and I stayed here and absolutely loved it. The pictures do not do this home and the views justice! The kitchen is a chef's dream. It's incredibly well stocked and has enough room for several people to cook. The views from the great room are stunning. In the morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the back patio overlooking the ocean. After exploring the surrounding areas during the day, we looked forward to returning to this beautiful and relaxing home. The home is stocked with plenty of games and books. The property has an amazing hot tub which we enjoyed at night along with the fire pit.

This place was beautiful. Didn't stay the night, I was helping to deliver the soaring eagle carving, but the owner (Ned) was a super nice guy. He was willing to help unload and place the eagle. He gave us a tour of the grounds. The lodge has a breath taking view. We do plan on taking our wives back for a weekend.

Perfect Getaway!! I recently celebrated a reunion with old friends at this gorgeous home. Everyone was most comfortable at the soaring eagle lodge which has a hot tub to relax. There is even an eagle's nest in the tall Douglas fir located on the property. It has stunning views of Puget sound - wake up to boats going crabbing at sunrise and bald eagles chirping . Simply climb down the stairs to a private beach and be one with nature. Driftwood, mussels, and other sea treasures are waiting. I enjoyed some fun activities - kayaking deception pass, clamming, whale watching, and exploring quaint waterfront
