The dealership said I needed a new transmission , which took them 9 months to figure out. They also pressured me to make to make an appointment or face dire consequences. I took my car to AAMCO for a second opinion. I did new a new transmission, but they said I had time to decide what I wanted to do. I appreciated their honest opinion that the transmission was just beginning to have problems and failure was not immediate, as I was lead to believe by the dealership.

Our truck broke down on I-80 eastbound. We had it towed here as it need transmission work. They explained everything to us, and repaired our truck timely. Were from Iowa so we left it in another state where we were unfamiliar with any of the repair shops. Extremely pleased with the service and the driving tips they provided. Buyer beware!!! Great guy to talk to and seems honest and sincere, but.....had our Chrysler Pacifica transmission rebuilt here. He said new transmission should last 80-100k miles. Immediately after I drove away and paid him caution light kept flashing. 2 weeks later, I called and explained what was going on. He said it's fine and something is probably not just "perfectly" aligned bit everything is okay. Fast forward, transmission went out 34000 miles later (all easy highway driving with cruise on) he seemed shocked this happened but said it was over a year later and said sorry about your tough

This is the second time I have taken it down to Richard he is extremely fair and honest they do very good work. my air conditioning was not working he got it in the same day evacuated everything filled it back up said that I have a small leak explain the putting to much refrigerant in won’t do you any good. Won’t try and sell you something you don’t need like an air conditioning compressor and will educate you and explain exactly what is going on with your vehicle

My transmission went out and I called two bigger shops in Lincoln that I USE to frequent. For the prices they quoted me I could have bought a second vehicle. A friend remembered taking a old car to AAMCO so I called. Richard listened to my story, said they could fix it and quoted me a price quite a bit less than what the other places gave. Not only that, but it was done in less than two days! Why it didn't occur to me to look at a place with the word transmissions in its name in the first place is beyond me...... They are all about quality, integrity, honesty and helping people. I'm not taking
