Saumiin earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from Butler University and a Master's Degree in Health Informatics from Indiana University. He has over 20 years of experience in community pharmacy. This store has the friendliest, most genuine and helpful staff I've ever met at a pharmacy before! I never thought I'd say this, but it was a delight to go to the pharmacy in this case and look forward to the next trip. It's always refreshing to find a local spot run by people that care. Best Pharmacy in my book 👍🏻

Both the pharmacist and the pharmacy technician provided exceptional service to me at the Carmel, Indiana Prescription Shop. I was visiting from Colorado Springs, Colorado and needed to have a prescription filled by a compounding pharmacy. Although they did not have the medicine I needed on hand, they went out of their way to obtain it for me and filled my prescription in less than 24 hours. The customer service, professionalism, and friendly service makes me wish they were located in Colorado Springs, not just in Carmel, Indiana.

Hunter, my dog ate some sugar free candy with xylitol. Near death. Part or his treatment was home medication. The Vet prescribed a medication that nobody carried. We tried all major pharmacies, big box stores. No one wanted to or give us any options. We found “Carmel Prescription Shop”. We contacted them on Saturday. They didn’t carry the medication, however they would order compounds and make the medication. They overnighted the materials and filled prescription. Hunter’s liver so far is doing great with on damage all thanks to “Carmel Prescription Shop”. They went above and beyond

This may seem like a small shop, but they are extremely friendly and professional and their service is very efficient and fast.
I discovered this shop when I was looking for a compounding pharmacy that would fill a monthly compounding prescription that is rather time-consuming. My now-former compounding pharmacy refused to do it. Carmel prescription shop took the prescription without hesitation. Wow!!
They have or have access to pretty much anything for your healthcare needs! I'm amazed every time I visit their shop. Masks, home health care, OTC, supplements.....
Their prices are extremely reasonable

Carmel Prescription Shop is the BEST! I was having trouble obtaining a prescription from a particular manufacturer (due to bad side effects from other manufacturers) and Carmel Prescription Shop was the ONLY place who took the time to help track down the medication, order it, call my doctor for a prescription, then call me when it came in! You will absolutely not get this excellent service at any other big store pharmacy. This place is a gem --- its how pharmacies should be... they actually care about the patient!
