Hi my name is Ms Alexa. I have over 15yrs of experience in the childcare industry. I find it rewarding to work with children because what they learn at any early age, they keep with them forever and being able to help them with all their needs in their home away from home is so motivating and fulfilling.
My name is Melinda Torres, owner/director of The Learning Zone Daycare, Inc. I completed my 45 DCF hours in 2006. In 2012 I obtained my Bachelors from UCF. Since then, I have taken many trainings and courses annually in childcare to keep up to date with current trends, standards, quality, guidelines, and regulations.
The menu stays the same month to month, with the exception that there are times that we aren't able to get a hold of a recipe or ingredient and we then substitute for an equivalent nutritious meal. The Learning Zone Daycare participates in the food program and must serve at least one whole grain daily.

I love this daycare! When I drop my two little ones off, I know they are safe and in a clean environment. Ms. Jen, who is the director, is awesome. She loves and treats all the children like they are her own. She is a wonderful person.
