The BLG
And so many burgers you could eat lunch here every day for a week and never repeat yourself. Hey, we did start out as a grocery store, and we're happy to carry on that fine tradition. Question: What's more All-American than a perfectly-grilled mouth-watering burger tall enough to make you open wide, customized to your heart's content?

This burger is served with Swiss Cheese and topped with Sauteed Onions, Muchrooms, Lettuce and Tomatoes. Don't you hate menus that say, "Breakfast served till one, " or "Dinner 4 till 10?" Well, so do we! Traveling and need food for later or tomorrow? Let us know and it's yours to go.

Came because outdoor seating listed but just one picnic table, well shaded.
Mainly small deli, beer, convenience store.
Staff is nice and helpful enough. Breakfast is only served during limited hours.
We got there around 1030am and lunch did not start until noon so we got chicken tenders and jojos with honey mustard for 35 cents extra. The honey mustard is DELICIOUS. Tenders and jojos were good.
Had a portapotty for relief
It was ok family feel business.

Never consistent and just don't care about their food. No pride in what they are doing. Their fries are always mushy. They slap whatever sauce they want to on the wraps, fries and tots dripping in oil. Shame on you BLG for being so sloppy and not caring about your business. Take some pride in business ownership. In fact, they made us so angry today that we will be opening our own cafe serving wonderful, delicious food that we take pride in.

We absolutely BLG. So happy to have a place with great customer service and great food. Thank you for always staying open even during the COVID and following all safety protocols.

This is my first time here, and it took a bit to figure out the ordering system...I got the burger with 2 patties, it tasted great, and it came with natural cut fries...The fries were a bit on the greasy side, and I did not finish them. They seem to have a little bit of everything, for a connivence market. I will have to try this place again, and try something else. There were lots of people coming in and out, so I know it is a popular place

This place is awesome! From the outside, you wouldn't know that they serve food. It just looks like a little corner mart. The menu has a great selection (American, Mexican, and breakfast). The food is good and reasonably priced. Check out their specials by the front door - all specials have been good so far. The cordon bleu sandwich is good!

Awesome place BUT way understaffed for what they offer. 1 cashier is expected to make espresso, serve food, answer phone and ring customers up, which in return results in horrible customer service.

What an awesome little hidden gem. If you haven't had a burger from here you haven't lived. This is hands down one of the best burgers around. The service is super friendly and surprisingly they have two nice seating areas plus outdoor seating to relax and enjoy your meal.

This was my first visit to the BLG for a burger, I'd seen that they had started serving food but never thought stopping to eat at a grocery store. Man was I surprised! The store itself is an old style country store; small and sort of crowded with a fairly wide selection of stuff for the house and of course groceries. The food menu is not large but covers the basics; burgers, sandwiches, salads and a selection of wine and on-tap beers.
I ordered their 'Old Fashioned' cheeseburger with onion rings and a soda which totaled up to $12.20. The burger is a 1/3 lb. patty with everything

I live in Seattle, am surrounded by tons of trendy restaurants, and I still rather eat here at Big Lake Grocery than anywhere else. Their food is mindblowing. It's also nice to pick up convenience store fare before hitting the road or hiking trips. The service has always been super friendly too. My favorite is the Mac and cheese hamburger, while my husband adores their biscuits and gravy. You ought to get a side of fries with whatever you order because those things are also addictive.

Great community location! As a grocery store, they've got all the necessities. Great selection of beer and cider for there or to take in a growler. They also have a small restaurant there too where you can order at the counter. Food is delicious! The chicken strips are seriously so great, and their new breakfast menu is even better. Call ahead and they'll have breakfast waiting for you to grab and go on your way out of Big Lake. In the summer, they have a patio and beer garden. They even do events like beer tastings with breweries! They've got a great little sitting area with TVs

Nice little local store. Most of the basics you would need at last minute. They have about 5-6 beers on tap plus a decent beer selection. We just tried their burgers and let me say they are good. I my kids like the chicken strips they have. All they need now is a pizza oven..

The staff here is friendly and they have you're basics. It's a mom and pop type of store. It covers most emergency items you would need and then some stuff you don't need but buy anyway. The biggest thing is it will save you a trip into town but it will cost you just as much going in or more.

THE historical big lake grocery! Very proud to be the first review here.

This is exactly as it seems a small store right on your way to big lake where you know you will always be greeted with a smile and a good laugh.
