My girlfriend and I got into an accident the other day. Schmer's showed up for another person at the scene but the driver Theo walked over and called AAA for me after my phone died. He even got past all those annoying prompts they have for me!
Theo then came back and towed our car as well and was very courteous and professional. Also, my man helped coordinate stuff with the collision center we were dropped off at. I will recommend this business to anyone I know in the future.

My tow truck driver Theo was an amazing help! I’ve never been through the process of getting my car towed and he let me sit in my warm (running) car and was able to park the out of commission car in my back parking lot at my apartment. 10/10 service, thank you so much!

This encounter made me feel extremely unsafe. Was almost hit by one of their tow trucks on Harmony and Shields when they were going 55 in a 40. When we got up to the stoplight, he was cussing me out and aggressively driving around my car because of the stickers on my car. The license plate number was BEI A77. When I called the company to report, the woman on the phone was very understanding and polite. Will be reporting this as aggressive driving to the Fort Collins police.

AAA gave me a 3 hour wait time for my tow but then Shawn called within 10 minutes saying he was on his way and would see me in a few minutes! Super nice guy and knows how to load a lowered car without scraping bumpers or exhaust which is a huge bonus! I’d recommend using Shawn for your tow needs any day!

Most predatory and shady business I’ve ever dealt with. They towed my son’s car, and didn’t even bother to find out whose car it was for 8 days. 4 days after that they decided to send a certified snail mail letter. By the time we got the letter (signed for on first delivery attempt) they’d had the car 16 days, and the bill was $720. That was on a… Friday. By the time my son got back to town on Monday and we had a chance to do anything about it, the bill was over $800. Got the car out of jail today for $870. They basically make their living legally (barely) stealing

After AAA roadside assistance failed and I spent 3.5 hours alone, stranded on I-25, these good folks promptly came to my rescue. The dispatcher (Amber?) was as kind and understanding as they come. Chad appeared and should have been wearing a superhero cape. He was efficient, cheerful, knowledgeable, patient and kind. I hope I never need another tow, but if I do, these are the first people I’ll call.

I run a small business, there was a vehicle abandoned in the parking lot for the last 3 weeks. I contacted Schmer's towing to inquire about a tow at owners expense. They sent Shawn out right away and he had the vehicle loaded and towed out in less than one hour from my original phone call. Courteous and professional. I would definitely use them again.

Today at 3:30 pm, I called AAA to request a tow as my vehicle wasn't fully functioning. AAA told me it would be about 45 minutes that they would be out. With that being said, I hung up with the roadside assistance and logged into my AAA app. If anyone has AAA Roadside, you know you can track where your truck is and an ETA given by the company and… what company it was. I was dispatched to Schmers Towing and given an ETA of 3:58 AM. Remind you, I called into AAA at 3:30 PM. In calling AAA back to find out where my tow truck was at 4:00 pm, it was 94 degrees outside, thankfully I was able to

Schmer's claims that they were hired by Palmer Properties to tow from the 24 Hour pay to park lot on Laurel St between Cold Stone and Pizza Rev. Palmer Properties says they do not have any contract with Schmer's yet this tow company is threatening customers with arrest for trespassing using Pamler's name.
THE SIGNAGE IS DECEPTIVE, small and it's not clear that it's not like city owned lots where parking is free evenings and weekends. They are counting on people not knowing it's the ONLY privately owned 24/7 pay lot in town.

Casey from Schmer's Towing came exactly within the time AAA told us. He called as he was heading out to our location and managed to find our rental car in the huge parking lot at Foothills Center. He helped us unlock our rental vehicle in no time and we were able to get all our belongings out before he towed it back all the way to DIA from Fort Collins late on a Sunday night! It was such a relief to have help come so fast, and we're so appreciative of the professionalism and kindness that Casey showed us. Thank you!!

Terrible customer service. The driver lied and said we were on a dirt road when we weren't and had us wait 4 hours just to not show. Luckily some kind people helped us back into town. The next day we tried to get towed again from a parking lot and the same driver came and was extremely rude and aggressive. He ended up leaving our vehicle in the middle of the parking lot. The supervisor was unhelpful and has no control over his employees. DO NOT USE THIS TOWING COMPANY.

AAA Colorado dispatched Schmer's Towing to tow my father's car because the alarm would not shut off thereby disabling the car. James actually knew how to go through a reset sequence using the key and key fob and was able get my dad back on the road within a few minutes. James was very kind to my father and was pleasant to work with. Therefore, I highly recommend Schmer's Towing.

James is the nicest tow truck driver in Fort Collins. He works the beat by the Alley Cat and Coldstone Creamery and is very professional despite having the difficult job of towing people. My buddy managed to catch him right before he took off and it was only $65. Other companies charge hundreds without even leaving the lot. James was apologetic and understanding and very fast to release the vehicle. Great customer service experience.

New to town and all alone for the first time in my life. When my 2011 car wouldn't start and a nice gentleman in a 20th century volvo tried to jump it, I searched for towing nearby. Schmer's popped up. They were out very quickly. Not only were able to charge my battery, they told me a variety of places in town that would sell and install a new battery for m. Also - AND THIS IS KEY - they recommended Performance TuneUp to me for the majority of my car service needs. THIS is what I needed in a new town. Schmer's is a gem.
