This started off as a great experience when one of their staff members met us on a Sunday to open our rental. It was all down hill from there. The house we rented was in rough shape. The carpets had not been cleaned prior to our arrival and there was tons of clutter (cans of paint, cardboard, fire extinguishers, old toilet seats, an old vacuum cleaner, scrap wood, old light fixtures) much of which had been eaten by mice or rats in the garage. There were also two periods of time that we lost heat in the house and the furnace had to be repaired. Our electricity bill during this time was over $600

We had a great experience with Coast and Valley Properties. They took care of our rental needs when we moved counties, and were very responsive and reliable. Kim is our link to our landlord, and has facilitated all our service requests. The contractors they send to our home are professional, reliable and capable. Overall, a great rental agency.

I don’t recommend Renting or purchasing from Amy/coast and valley or any properties that she oversees. She is the worst landlord I have ever had. She is not a professional person in my opinion. she lets her personal feelings control her and she is willing to go to the end to try to control and hurt people, for control and money . She’s willing to break tenant rights, and lie if necessary to get you out or get what she wants out if you . That’s not professional and it’s unethical. She speaks to us tenants like she thinks she’s better than us or like we’re her children if she decides

I have used Coast and Valley Properties as an owner and also as a tenant. I was TOTALLY satisfied with their service as an owner, they did an EXCELLENT job finding a GREAT tenant. As a tenant of a rental, i had excellent service and when i had a problem it was resolved quickly.

Amy Salmina is an extremely competent property manager. Her attention to detail is highly admirable. For example, she took numerous pictures of our property before its most recent rental, to ensure that we would have a record of its condition at the time, in the event of a future dispute over responsibility for any subsequent damage. She also promptly located new tenants after the previous ones moved out, and obtained excellent rental terms. Her knowledge of local market conditions is remarkable, and we give her our highest recommendation.

Being a professional Realtor for 15 years I have had many occasions to work with various property managers.
