Super polite and friendly. Went in because my battery kept needing to be jumped. Tested at a auto parts shop and was told my alternator failed. Mark tested as well and was concerned they were right. He was able to get me in the next day and quoted me a price. He called me back the next day and the price was less than one third what he had quoted me.

I cannot say enough good things about the owner at Honest-1 Auto Care Fairfax.
My car wouldn't start twice yesterday morning, and I was in the area when it happened, so I called Mark at Honest-1. He had me come right in so he could test the battery, which was the problem. Not only did he have a new one delivered right away, he did an impromptu oil change while we waited.
People are so quick to post negative reviews, and I just wanted to say something positive about a great man with a great business.
I'm glad I was nearby, and I'm grateful for Mark and his amazing customer service!

Saw Mark and his team to determine why my A/C was blowing hot sometimes. I appreciate that they wanted to test to see if they could figure out the problem in a cost effective way instead of automatically changing out the whole system. I had to go back 2 more times, but they figured out the issue and I wasn’t charged an arm and a leg. I’m very pleased with the professionalism, as well.

Mark is courteous and takes the time to deal with my truck's needs even when it's obvious he's very busy.
I came in for a simple oil change, there were easily 20 cars in the lot for repair.
Instead of dropping it off and having to come back later, my truck was on the lift and out in a little over 30 minutes.
Thank you Mark for great customer service. I recommend this auto service highly.

Honest-1 on Wooster Pike is the best mechanic shop I’ve ever been to. Mark makes the name Honest-1 a true trait. He goes above and beyond for his customers. I used to go from one mechanic to the other and now I only go here. To the one on Wooster Pike. I would highly suggest this place!!! Will never go anywhere else again. I have referred multiple people as well and they all had a great experience.

I am so fortunate to have been referred to Honest-1 by a friend after several frustrating visits to large chain auto shops where I felt taken advantage of. At Honest-1, the service was excellent and I left knowing exactly what repairs were completed, the hours spent, parts needed, and watch-outs for the future. We had AAA tow our car to the shop as the car wouldn't start after a battery change.
The owner, Mark, was kind enough to squeeze us in the same day and found the issue in less than 24 hours. AAA had failed to strap the battery down correctly and in good faith, the shop didn't charge us a dime.
Great customer service and what would have been very competitive pricing! Will be using Honest-1 for the foreseeable future.

You will not find a better auto service center than Honest-1 in Fairfax. Mark (the owner) is a honest, straightforward, no-nonsense man. He tells you precisely what needs repaired, doesn't fluff up costs or try to do unnecessary work, and charges incredibly fair prices. This kind of auto shop is rare. I recommend it to everyone I know personally, and logged in today after Honest-1 repaired a broken A/C compressor in my C-RV simply because I was blown away yet again by their service.

I have been very impressed with the customer care and professionalism of Mark, the owner. He provides stellar work for a very reasonable price. Want an honest and competent mechanic? Mark the owner is your go to guy. He has worked on my car as well as my wife's, ranging from oil changes, brake changes, to diagnosing problems and fixing them (air conditioner) and we have nothing but the absolute best to say about his work and pricing. We need more people like him in business.
Facilities are clean- he has a play area for toddlers/little kids. His staff are friendly and top notch as well.

First off for starters this place felt like home!!!! It was very comfortable and welcoming and I’ve never in my life got that feeling from an auto repair business. Normally auto repair shops feel like men only clubs and it never feels inviting. I lovedddddddd the awesome customer service !! The manager was very open and attentive to my needs, he offered me tea, coffee, and snacks as I waited. Furthermore he offered to lend me a ride back to work while my car was being serviced and more so he said come Spring 2019 they will have a loaner car for customers to use. Okay back to the store it had

We have dealt with these guys on several different concerns and always have been pleased with the customer service and with the effective repair. They have been transparent in their prices and direct about what is a "need to" repair and what can wait. I feel confident in using them. They definitely live up to their "honest" name. Just happened to hit a speed bump which caused some of my under carriage to come loose and start dragging very close to this auto repair shop. I walked in, asked them to take a look and see what they could do; 20mins later the undercarriage was fixed with a new bolt and NO CHARGE! I asked what I owed them and they stated it was an easy repair as it had come loose with one bolt and needed another bolt to secure it on the other side. I yanked them for their honest service pun intended and was on my way. They could have easily charged me for the bolt and service time but didn't and now if I

Stay away! Brought my car in for an oil change and a check brake pad light that was on. Received a call for a $2,000 repair. Had them just replace brake pads for $800. Called the dealership to see what they would charge- which was $385. They did lower the price to around $600, but needless to say, I will not be back.
