The name Freedom Bicycles was born while Doug was on a bike ride with a friend, as he shared his desire to start a bicycle shop that offered quality bicycles that are easier, more comfortable and safer to operate.

Services
Our focus is to be a family bike shop with an assortment of styles and sizes to fit all bicyclists. We want to help our customers get a well-fitted bike at a reasonable price. Our bike shop is located in downtown Alexandria on the TJ Evans bike trail where you may take test rides. We have a good selection of bikes to choose from, all the way from children's bikes to adult bikes for experienced riders.

We were in yesterday to purchase a bike for our son for his birthday! The experience was exceptional. My son tested a couple bikes and found one that has excellent quality and features. The two personnel also were very kind and fixed my sons existing bike and my daughters bike when we were there. I'm very impressed with the service and experience!

They are the best. I was just curious and stop in, I tried one of there electric bikes ( really I rode 3 of them) I loved it. About six months later I Finally bought one. I have been so pleased I bought bikes for my kids to take back to school. No pressure sales friendly local people. Now I have to get my wife on one.
