Sissy's is a Springer family-owned business, where Mom, Dad, Son, Daughter and Son-in-Law welcome you with our delicious cuisine, fine wines and warm hospitality. It was always our dream to own an award-winning restaurant on the Central Coast, and since 2002, we've been living that dream! Chefs Janan (daughter) and Jon (son) are busy in the kitchen, preparing meals with the freshest and finest ingredients.
Our famous desserts are all made here by Dave (dad) and Norma Anderson. Dorothy (mom) and Steve (son-in-law) are out front, making sure our guests are well served. We invite you to stop by for lunch every day except Sunday or for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Our wine cellar, with over 300 different labels of difficult to find local wines, is one of the largest selections of Central Coast wines.

Safe Outdoor Dining during the Pandemic under tenting and physically distanced tables.
Sissy's Uptown Café may be the most culinarily sophisticated restaurant in Lompoc. From what I have sampled, there is an emphasis on good quality ingredients, freshness of produce, having awareness of being able to match different textures, flavours, aromas that complement each other into creating a whole that is more than its parts.

Delicious! We were here on a Thursday evening. I had the Walnut crusted chicken with potatoes and asparagus. My husband had a filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. A fresh basket of breads to start and a cold glass of Riesling. My chicken was tender and crusty and hot. Potatoes were seasoned well and smooth. The waitress saved the last piece of homemade lemon Meringue pie for me too. Good service. Excellent food. The menu changes frequently as do the hours according to the concierge at our hotel, but it is defininitely worth a phone call to see if they are open.

Very nice lunch spot with great sandwiches. It's a little pricy but you get a large salad or plentiful fries with your meal. Our server was super nice and helpful. The restaurant is being very Covid careful, as the pandemic is worse here, than in Florida.
I really enjoyed our time here. I'm told, the place is known for being good and I agree.

We're from down in the Goodland/SB area so we don't get up to Lompoc all that often but recently, we did and we really noticed how the the pandemic has done a serious number on the restaurant scene up there. Sadly, many great and reliably good places are gone for good. Luckily there's one that's still up and running and that's Sissy's. Sure you can't enjoy the funky cool dining room at the moment but on a nice warm and sunny Friday the parking lot patio was just fine. For Lunch they're doing salads and sandwiches which was ok by us because that's what

Restaurant offered outside (tent) dining due to COVID restrictions. Layout was well done, allowing for adequate social distancing.
Menu offers a wide variety of dishes and desserts, including an extensive selection of wines.
We were impressed by the number of locals who visited on a Friday night.
We had the Mediterranean pasta and found it to be a truly outstanding dish - well presented and delicious.
The staff was attentive and courteous, offering additional breads and beverages.
Outstanding in all respects.

We came to Lompoc (we live in Santa Maria) to visit the dare 2 dream farmstand and decided to find a local place to eat lunch. We picked this place because the outside looked cute. My son was bugging us for a grilled cheese sandwich and thank goodness they had one on the kids menu. He loved it! I am vegetarian and they had a few options for me. I chose the vegetarian sandwich which was 3 different types of mushrooms, roasted bell pepper and cheese on grilled sourdough. It also came with a cup of lentil soup. Both were delicious! Extra points that the soup was very hot since i prefer my soups, food

Been trying to make it here for a while and I'm sorry I didn't make it in sooner. We came in for lunch and were greeted with a warm welcome.
Turkey cranberry sandwich with chicken tortilla soup, pastrami burger with fries, salad nicoise, tomato soup, and I had the warm mushroom salad with chicken added. Food was fresh and the mushroom salad is my new favorite. Service was amazing. We'll be back.

This was such a weird dining experience. We came here for dinner around 7:30pm on a Saturday and we were the only party there, in the entire restaurant the entire time. The place looks like it should be a breakfast cafe, not a pricey dinner spot. I ordered the chicken picata ($28), my dad got the ribeye ($40). Bread was brought to the table, definitely not fresh. Our meals came and they were good and plated nicely. This would have been a good experience if the meals were about half the cost. The atmosphere does not warrant those prices, especially since they were cleaning up the restaurant

The food was delicious. Generous portions. I got a tuna melt on sourdough. It was so good! The fell lll service was outstanding. Only thing I don't like is the fowl smell in the carpet lingers. They should replace it with tile floor like seriously. You can smell rancid food as you walk in ( I'm almost 100%) that it's from the carpet.

I've had good meals and not ao good meals. They are best at doing their meals as on the menu. I asked for an alternative and ended up with precooked and then overcooked potatoes which were so hard i couldn't chew on them. I can't be the only person with a dairy issue not helped by Lactaid. It helps when a restaurant can work with that peculiarity. I did not complain much at the time about my overcooked potatoes and overcooked fish (which also usually comes covered in dairy sauce) because I wanted to enjoy my time with my man. I was disappointed to discover that my requests

My favorite lunch or dinner place in Lompoc. Been here several times and every experience was superb. Ordered the quiche (lunch special) and loved the flavors & the crust. Served with a side salad. My favorite is the coconut creme pie (they usually run out of it), but my last visit I managed to grab two slices! Love the simple decor and that it is located in the historical part of Lompoc's downtown. A must!

The establishment itself is easy to find situated in the "downtown" area of Lompoc. Plenty of parking beside the building, more on the other side and even some across the street.
No neon or flashy signs to be found here. The specials sat on a dry erase board right at the entrance near a window.
Upon coming inside I was promptly greeted by a waiter who was near a lunch bar. There doesn't seem to be a host stand and he asked me to pick a table and please have a seat. I chose a spot near the windows by the door.
The specials are once again on a dry erase board hanging on the wall

I finally caught Sissy's while they were open! My lunch was very good. I ordered the French dip. It was accompanied with a bowl of the daily special soup (navy bean & bacon). I also had great service with a smile. There were a few more sandwiches on the menu that I still would like to try, so Sissy's will most likely see me again.
