Francios is truly amazing as a teacher. He motivates you to always do better. He can a bit strict but it only helped me improve and get better with my techniques. He doesnt sugar coat things and is very direct. I loved the private lessons i was able to do with him. If you want a school to learn ballet look no further. FAB will make you a ballet dancer and learning from will make you amazing. Thank you Francois

French Academie of Ballet is a wonderful school! I definetly feel that my ballet training has improved since the beginning of the year under the amazing influence of Francois Perron and Bivi Kimura. The training is rigorous and challenging, in addition to it being extremely beneficial and effective. I highly recommend the school for young dancers looking to pursue ballet as a career in the professional dance field. The performance experiences are very fun and fulfilling. Training everyday and interacting with my fellow dance mates creates a sense of family that will be cherished forever!

I have found the true art form in French Academie of Ballet has is missing in other ballet schools I have attended over the years: politics that has attatched itself to the arts does not exist here.
Francois Perron is a man of dignity, who could have 'run with the pack' to benefit from the $$ funding to make his school millions like some others -with strings attached. But he did not go the route of 'selling out' to make a buck. He upholds the art of Ballet. The discipline he brings to the students goes hand in hand with the humor with which he pushes you.

I am a student that goes to FAB, and I think it's the most amazing ballet school in NYC, probably topping SAB. Mr. Perron and Bivi truly know the fundamentals and advances of the ballet technique. French Ballet is more versatile, elegant, and sophisticated than American Ballet. Everyone appreciates each others' dancing and we built a loving community.

Passionate, dedicated, driven and a desire for excellence. Some of the traits attributed to François Perron, the founder of French Academie of Ballet. Constantly present and coaching from his heart, François makes for a great mentor and his vast experience is channeled through his students as he makes them think about the corrections while they execute the variations.
Bivi Kimura brings an additional facet of professionalism to the school and her techniques provide precise direction with an emphasis on body placement.
Pure commitment always shines through the teachers. Always around to help

Francois's students clearly benefit from--and vocally appreciate--his tutelage. As a relative ballet novice and outsider who's had the privilege of attending some of the end-of-semester/season public performances, I can't espouse enough the virtues of Francois's inherent artistic sensibility, flair for choreography, and undeniable capacity--and passion--for teaching young dancers to be consummate, self-confident performers.
I recommend the school for young students (and their parents) looking for rigorous and truly effective instruction, and recommend the school's public performances (such as
