Services
Ductless heat pumps provide heat by extracting heat from outside air and delivering it indoors as needed. Because they are moving heat, rather than generating it through combustion or resistance, heat pumps can achieve efficiencies well above 100%. Long used for cooling in warm climates, heat pumps are now able to provide efficient heating in cold climates even at outdoor temperatures as low as -15 °F.

David Cressey installed two heat pumps at our house in Phippsburg last winter. He worked with me to choose the placement of the indoor and outdoor units and completed the work exactly as we had discussed. The heat pumps work great to help us heat and cool the house. I was so satisfied with his work that I also had him complete an upgrade of our electrical system this winter.

Dave installed 2 splits for us to replace a gas heater and electric baseboard. They are more than doing the job even on the coldest mornings this winter. Couldn't be happier! He also added in some wiring for a new hot tub that was being installed at the same time and got us up and running with that the same day it arrived.

Hired D A CRESSEY Electric to install two complete heat pump systems at my home in Harpswell. From the estimate through installation; I was extremely happy. The units work Great heating and cooling my home. Came when scheduled, worked diligently, cleaned up when completed, finished project looks great and answered all of our questions! He also advised us on All Rebates from Efficiency Maine and took care of all the necessary paperwork! My Daughter hired him for two complete systems for her house in Portland, she is extremely happy with the units and Dave’s installation!

He was slow to show up, had me assist with everything, and didn’t finish the job! He left part of my house without electricity and wires hanging from a home in the ceiling sheet rock. When asked to return he was upset that he wasn’t chosen to do the heat pumps at my place and wouldn’t return for the smaller jobs like finishing his work. Charged 100$ an hour and really didn’t do much. Unprofessional and not work ethic from what I’ve seen.
