With gerotor experience dating back more than fifty years, Cascon engineers know the technology inside and out. While we specialize in providing a complete solution, Cascon also supplies aerospace grade gerotors for parts manufacturer approval (PMA) and other high-reliability applications.

Working to anticipate emerging market demand, our customer was developing an innovative new line of chemical dispensing equipment. Integrate purging ports to prevent chemical from curing within the pump while the system was shut down. The customer's president, an industry veteran, envisioned a solution that would also employ a specific pump shaft seal design informed by years of field experience and observation.
The project started when a leading manufacturer of drawworks (and related drilling equipment for the oil and gas industry) identified demand in the oilfield market for a hydraulic gerotor pump that was no longer available. The original pump manufacturer decided to shut down their manufacturing line and obsolete the pump after nearly 30 years of production.
Drawing on more than thirty years of experience in the design of multi-circuit pumps, the Cascon team applied its core engineering and technology to produce a compact skid with all the features necessary to satisfy project objectives. From the project's outset, our team worked closely with the client's engineering staff, engaging in ad-hoc trade studies to arrive at the most effective design strategy.
