Services
When you call, we answer. You don't have a layer of gate keepers or bureaucracy to get through to talk to your doctor. If you receive a voice mail, please leave a message, as we're with a patient like you.and when our time with that patient is complete, we'll return your call. We also try to schedule patients with enough time that we can spend time with you.
Sometimes, you realize you may be dramatically over-reacting to people or situations, and possibly even causing unintended hurt. Or you may observe this in your child or spouse. There are medications that can help your emotions to be more resilient and stable. And allow you to get to the bottom of what's going on through the help of a therapist.

Geriatric psychiatrists are not as common as adult psychiatrists especially here in Apex or Cary NC. I'm here for geriatric needs whether you're in Morrisville, Holly Springs, Fuquay Varina, or any other community in the Apex / Cary, NC area. No matter what you're experiencing, if you don't feel like you're at your best, I really want to help.
Residency helped me enhance my knowledge in psychiatric diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. I enjoyed this wonderful opportunity to observe both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. I joined the psychiatrists in morning rounds, and also observed as they saw patients in their clinic. I gave a lecture on Phobias and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder during noon conference, and observed and learned from several ECTs.

I highly recommend Saranga Comprehensive Psychiatrist especially Dr. Reshmi!! I have been with her for 3-4 years now, she is very understanding with good advice. She pushes me to better my life and achieve my life goals. Nicole (the lady at the front desk) is always sweet and welcoming!! They also have an app called Spruce, you can download to communicate with them which makes it extremely easy to get ahold of the doctor if you need to.

Dr Reshmi Saranga is responsive and compassionate. One of her specialties particularly applies to my need and she has a great depth of experience in it. I find her to be very encouraging. Once I familiarized myself with the best and most confidential way to communicate with the office, it has become even easier to schedule or ask questions.

Reshmi and Nicole have both been fantastic over the 2 years I’ve been going there! She was able to take my first appt immediately, even as she was moving into the new office that day. They always have been extremely helpful and accommodating with my annoying last minute requests. Highly recommended!

Would give 0 stars if I could...or less. Totally botched my medical leave after going back on what she said she would do regarding paperwork. Poor communication and response from office manager. Very pricy compared to other providers near by. Do not take or file insurance. I went here as it was the first appt I could get close to me. Should have gone elsewhere..BEWARE!

I started seeing Dr. Vinay Saranga about a year and a half ago for anxiety and depression. He has always made me feel comfortable and safe, and because of him, I'm finally enjoying college and living life with a smile. If you're looking for a psychiatrist, definitely check out Dr. Saranga!
