Mrs G’s Core Philosophies
Report
As we begin another year, I would like to take a moment to share with you my core teaching values with hopes that it will help you to better connect with me throughout the remaining months ahead. I have 180+ students on my roster for the incoming school year. I am invested in every single one of them and I strive to help them to achieve their best every day.
Our Ensembles
Report
If you have questions about the courses or a specific ensemble, please email the director at ragigliotti@fcps.edu. Students will participate in a chorus of tenor/bass voices. Emphasis is placed upon correct vocal performance techniques and sight-singing through the study of appropriate choral literature.
Uniforms
Report
As stated in the course syllabus, students will be expected to present a professional appearance for every performance. This is standard throughout FCPS Music Programs. But beyond the requirements for the programs, appropriate attire and uniforms have other benefits for our emerging performers at South Lakes Chorus.
Spring Trip
Report
The main purpose of the Spring Trip is to perform and/or compete at various venues in the United States. Choral students look forward to this opportunity each year as it builds camaraderie, morale, and pride within the program. The trip usually occurs in April after Spring Break. Students miss no more than 2 days of school.
