Saturday night 8 Jan. 2022. Very busy, floor staff seem...."lost". China Cafe has been in business to many years at this location for this lack of organization. As mentioned when we arrived the Cafe was very busy one table was open but had yet to be "bussed" and cleaned. We waited 15min while the waiter ignored us at the door and ignored the open table. I took a bussing kit and cleared the table myself. Now seated we waited another 10min for a drink and appetizer order to be taken. Another 10min for "Luke Warm" egg rolls to arrive. Another 30min of waiting for our order and I left a five for the

I've been happy with everything I've had so far. Great flavor, generous portions. House fried rice is awesome.
My only request would be that they have a dark meat option for the chicken dishes. They use breast meat, and every other Chinese restaurant I've gone to uses dark meat for things like General Tso or orange chicken.

I had heard that there was authentic Chinese food in Roger's and I had to prove it while visiting Eureka Springs. I drove over to try China Cafe. They greeted me with a basket of "crunchies" that were delicious. The waitress told me that they make their own noodles, but I had already decided on the chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce, and started off with steamed dumplings. Both were delicious and plenty enough for two. It was worth the drive from Eureka Springs!

We ordered food tonight for pickup-I disclosed a nut allergy at time of ordering!
We picked up our food-my husband took a bite of this broccoli beef with noodles and immediately had an itchy throat! I called twice and they said why yes our noodles do have a peanut sauce and the guy chuckled! Not impressed with their safety for customers with food allergies even after disclosing food allergy at time of order! We currently sitting in the ER as I had to administer an epi pen-we will not be eating here after tonight!

Being a negative review, I'll skip the entertaining Yelp preferred story and get straight to the point.
I placed (3) orders of teriyaki chicken stick appetizers. (5) pieces per order.
Told 15-25 minutes from order placed. Food order handed to me 45 minutes after order placed.
(2) of the (3) appetizers were short (1) stick. So total of (13) sticks instead of (15).
All, and I mean all of the chicken was extremely over cooked and burnt crispy. Only (7) sticks edible (out of 13, but should have been 15).
Never again China Cafe. Never. Again.

China Cafe is a quaint, well established restaurant in the Pleasant Crossings area. I had a great first time experience. The service is very good, friendly, courteous and attentive. The staff seems happy and you can tell just from the atmosphere surrounding the restaurant.
The food was delicious and surprisingly bountiful. I had the Happy Family dinner plate filled with mixed beef, chicken, pork, seafood and vegetables. It tasted great and I had plenty of leftovers for a second meal the next day. Oh and the price is very much affordable.
This restaurant seems to be very popular with to go orders

Since Covid we have been able to still do take out. But in my opinion it's just not the same. The inside has now opened with limited seating but we decided to hold off until fully open. So I just wanted to update the review in case anyone has done take out and perhaps the food wasn't a 5 star Please definitely try again once they have opened all the way !!!

Order from the Szechwan menu! Specifically the Mapu Tofu (VERY different tasting, but delicious. A little "spicy" but more like makes your mouth tingle) and the green beans - both are delicious (and I'm not vegetarian/vegan/food limited, it's just that good). The egg drop soup is VERY good & the crab rangoons are great as well (very creamy & comes with quite a few) - you don't even need the sauce, which isn't my favorite anyways.

Came here on a quiet Saturday night after the dinner rush and we were treated to some very nice, thoughtful service and some delicious food. They brought out fried wontons and snap peas before the meal- a nice touch! Then, the food was amazing. I had the Singapore rice noodle and thought the noodles and vegetables were done to perfection. Then as an added bonus they brought out some dessert for us, on the house as well. Excellent!!

It was ok... the house fried rice was good. I absolutely hated the sesame chicken and egg rolls. The sesame chicken tasted weird, it was not the traditional sauce. I think it maybe made with siracha sauce and I hate siracha sauce. The egg rolls were different than what I’m used too. The staff was friendly... however when I came the whole staff was having lunch, which didn’t bother. What did bother me is I waited awhile for my check because my waitress was eating... I was a little annoyed because I was ready to leave and I had to wait for her to finish eating.
