Suspended over the stream that gave "Mud Street" its name, The Annex pays homage to the force which built Eureka Springs - its water. Where else can you eat breakfast and sip award-winning coffee while watching the water flow 20 feet below? The "Little Sister" of Mud Street Cafe will delight you with its original tin ceiling, brick and limestone walls, and repurposed wood bar.

As you enjoy your meal, you can bask in the glow of the Ozarka Neon Sign, which at one time, hung at the old Train Depot when our water was shipped near and far. The Annex has its own vibe but the same delicious food which has made Mud Street Cafe a continuous favorite since 1995. Nestled next to the City Auditorium, we are here to serve you breakfast ALL DAY and lunch from 11 to 3. Closed Tuesday & Wednesday.
Services
Just like our sister restaurant, Mud Street Cafe, we serve the same Eureka Springs breakfast menu, but do it all day. Local favorites like our House-Made Muffins, Sour Cream Pancakes, and our famous Veggie Hashbrowns are all available, as well as the popular breakfast standrds. We also offer the same, award-winning coffee drinks.
If you're in the mood for lunch in Eureka Springs, we've got you covered. Lean beef, hand-pattied burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches like the spicy Cajun or the Chicken Flortine, topped with fresh spinach, earthy mushrooms, and melted Swiss cheese. How about a classic Ruben or an all-time favorite, BLT.

My wife and I recently went to mud Street Cafe to eat breakfast as we do many times when we are in Eureka Springs. We are locals and we live in North Little Rock so we come here often. The last two visits one to the cafe the second to the annex have not been pleasant. About 3 weeks ago my wife and I went in for breakfast and we waited 25 minutes to get seated which I'm not complaining about because every restaurant is short-staffed so we understand that. What I don't understand is once we do get seated and we order our drinks our water comes immediately and the Dr pepper we ordered comes 30 minutes

Best omelette I have had since my trip to Europe. I got the spinach Mushroom Omelette. The textures of each ingredient were superb. Perfect amount of cheese, mushrooms and spinach. The house potatoes were also perfection. Everything was amazing. My ONLY two suggestions is that you make your coffee stronger and turn the music down before Noon 😉
Bravo to the chef!!!

Very fast and efficient service for breakfast. The spicy cheese grits, with a little Tabasco was really good. The breakfast potatoes had a nice skillet crunch. The ham and cheese omelet was done perfectly- eggs light and fluffy not overdone.

Went here for breakfast and lunch over the long 4th of July weekend, both meals were awesome, and the waitress was top notch, we had the same one for both stops. I was on crutches and she let me go out the back where there were less stairs.
On a side note, the morning we went there for breakfast we were parked in space number 1 in their parking lot next to the building and a very angry old man that is a cook there walked past us and called us A-Holes, I'm not sure what we did to make him so mad, but he wasn't going to discourage us from enjoying our breakfast, i just hope he wasn't the one that

Excellent food, service and cleanliness! Highly recommended!! We had a party of four & ordered breakfast and lunch entrees, along with specialty coffees and an appetizer. Everything was perfect & delicious. Best meal so far in Eureka Springs!!! Be sure to wear a face mask which may be removed after being seated. Enjoy!!!

Must try place in Eureka Springs! It's primarily a breakfast joint. They serve breakfast with a little bit of European twist. Egg Benedict is great. I have the latte and it taste great. You can have a coffee refill and it last all day when you are in town with their to go cup.
