Create a coiled basket made of clothesline rope that has been wrapped with strips of fabric. This hands-on class will take you through all the necessary steps needed to create flawless appliques with your embroidery machine. This class is only open to those that have purchased their machine from Discover Sewing.
Get to know your new Viking sewing machine. This session is general information for basic utility sewing. Learn new techniques while we walk you step by step through all the utility stitches and presser feet that came with your machine. This class is for people who purchased their Viking machine from Discover Sewing and have not previously attended our new owner.

Discover Sewing in Sandy Springs is a great place to hang out! I normally go to the Duluth Store (also fantastic) but every once in awhile the Sandy Springs store has different classes or a date/time more convenient for me. The atmosphere is heartwarming and the people who work there are friendly and helpful.

I absolutely love the customer service at this place. I purchased an embroidery machine in 2020 and I truly believe it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. Before purchasing, I spoke to Linda over the phone and she was very helpful and explained that the machine was still available for purchase. I stopped in a day or two later and another lady (I forgot her name) was also helpful and walked me through the features on the machine. I was pretty much sold before she finished. I made the purchase and unfortunately they didn’t have any new owner classes due to Covid, but they’ve started in

Friendly staff and convenient location but a service for my Singer Heavy Duty is $169 plus anything that may be wrong with it. I just bought this in December and I felt they were quick to tell me to upgrade my machine. I may be out of the sewing game if this is the cost of yearly maintenance. May I suggest calling around, I know some of these shops are a bit of a drive.

Went in to get a repair and was greeted very warmly. Provided very helpful information by the shop owner and technician about my machine. I decided to look around the shop and as able to find a better more reliable machine at a great price. The entire experience was very pleasant considering that it was April 2020 at the height of the start of the COVID-19 epidemic. The owners are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products. I purchased a Husqvarna Viking that i am completely in love with. I wish I could have taken some of the owner's classes that were available, however, with the epidemic

I LOVE THIS PLACE! got my sewing machine from them and everytime I have a problem, they never hesitate to help me, free of charge. Linda is the best, she taught me a few things I needed to know about my sewing machine when all I needed was a quick repair. There’s this other lady who walked me through buying a sewing machine and didn’t try to make me buy the most expensive one and was honest.. I definitely recommend buying a sewing machine from here!

Took older machine in for repairs which were nearly the same price as a modest new machine. Associate gave very honest and objective advice in evaluating if an upgrade was the better option, and which machine would suit my needs. We determined that, for me, simply repairing my old one made the best sense. In other words: knowledgeable about their inventory, and practice genuine customer service.

I went into Discover Sewing to pick up the upgrade I ordered for my embroidery machine and ended up buying a new sewing machine. They listen to what I needed it for and gave me options to fit my needs. The thing I love most is there is no high pressure selling just the info you need to make a decision.

I love Discover sewing. The staff is very knowledgeable about the sewing and cutting industry. Probably a lot more then I am aware of. Always ready to help you out if you are struggling with something. I highly recommend their shop and staff to everyone I know. I love taking classes and refreshing my memory and skills and spending the time with these very friendly. I consider these ladies my riends.
