My name is Scott Hampton and I'm the owner of Compuaid. I began my entry into the high tech world when I started programming computers back in the late 1980s while I was going to school. While in school a person offered me a part-time job repairing computers. My job was to provide on-site support for both residential and business.
During that time I learned a lot about repairing computers and the needs of the customer. One thing that I've learned over the years is that there is nothing more important than the customer's needs. After graduating college (SFSU) I decided to strike out on my own. It's been many years now and nothing I learned while in school even pertains to today's technology except for one thing.

Services
Compuaid will go to your home or office and repair most any problem you might have with either your desktop or laptop computer. We have extensive experience with both Windows and Mac operating system (OSX) problems including damage caused by viruses, spyware/adware, and file corruption (for starters.)
Computer or IT security, is the protection of information systems from theft or damage to the hardware, the software, and to the information on them, as well as from disruption or misdirection of the services they provide. Security (including data protection) is the most important concern for business today.
Installing a new UPS (battery backup) on a three-server system. The air conditioning unit failed and started blowing out huge amounts of water (it was a visible mist) which caused the UPS to fail and shut down the servers. We have since installed a humidity sensor that will email a warning if this was ever to happen again.

I have visited Compu Aid in Belgaum. My experience was worst as I am new to this sale and service center. I have asked them to format my system and 3 keys were not in working condition so check if they can fix it.
When I went to take my laptop back, laptop keyboard cable disconnected and it was not working. They said while formatting they disconnected working keyboard in laptop.
Noone was responding to my loss. They asked we can't do anything and took 450 rupees for formatting my system and damaged my laptop keyboard.
Worst experience in my life. Working things are not working.

Scott has been helping us with our home computers for many years. He has helped us move from one computer to a new one several times, and bailed us out of complex problems. Called Compuaid when my laptop died after I cleaned the fan internally. Scott answered and he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and well priced. While other shops couldn't give me a straight answer, Scott came to my house to pick it up at 12 noon and dropped it off in perect working condition by 7p that same day. He's great and highly recommended - I couldn't be happier.

I can strongly recommend Scott. He returned my initial phone call very quickly and soon thereafter came by and picked up my iMac. As i had suspect the HD had failed. Scott installed the latest OS on the new HD and it was all set to go when he returned my iMac.
These things do happen and although he verified the original HD was bad the iMac failed in the same manner again. Thus, the new HD is defective or I have a Logic Board issue. I have not returned the computer to Scott yet as I am installing my files before cloning the OS.

Scott's number is right in the front of my rolodex, because everyt ime and anytime I have a computer problem, I know he's the best one to call. He is prompt, professional, reasonably-priced and his depth of knowledge is amazing. I always get that sinking feeling when I have a problem I can't fix myself, but I feel far better knowing Scott is just a phone call away.

Next morning I call him at 9 AM & he promised that he will stop by late in the afternoon. He call and after he arrived he start fixing my only 2YO desktop. After about 1 1/4 hr it was fixed free of problems....he ask for $95 only, what I think is fair price in this area. He saved my old irreplaceable photos and my computer.

I called Scott in a panic today at 11:30, my computer crashed, and all I had was a working hard drive. He was at my office by 1. He installed my old drive into another working computer of mine, and then got everything working on my new computer. He restored my Outlook emails and all my Office documents, and even figured out a way for me to access data from an old program that was no longer capable of being used. In addition, while he was waiting for things to download or update on my computer, he casually fixed my cellphone so that it would get email, and enabled my laptop to print wirelessly

I learned of Scott through a family memeber that has used him for a few years. I gave him a try and haven't looked back since . Scott is always on time and gives an exact time not a window . I was having problems with my Outlook and uploading my website to my server. So I decided to email some people and Scott emailed me right back. He said he could fix the issues i was having. So the next day he came over to my house and took a look at my laptop and was fix the problems. He even explained what he was doing so that I could understand the next time it happened.

Windows on my Dell computer completely shut down and I could not open any programs. We contacted Scott from Compuaid on Saturday, April 24, 2010 and he came to our home that afternoon. He worked for an hour on the problem and then said he would need to take the computer to his home to run more investigative programs. He telephoned us regularly to keep us informed about his work. He determined that he had to totally reinstall Windows and get rid of a Virus my computer had. I had some issues with slowness on my desktop computer that were very frustrating. I took a chance and called Compuaid and spoke to a gentleman named Scott. He met me at my house and took my computer with him. In a couple of days he returned and informed me what he thought were the problems and how he fixed them. It now runs beautifully and I am very happy with not only his service but with his pricing as well. Great job Scott!
