Conifer Physical Therapy
We understand that starting physical therapy can be a bit intimidating, especially if you have never been to therapy before. Whether your goal is to spend time with your grandchildren, go hiking in the foothills, or cycle the mountain passes, our physical therapists are dedicated to truly understanding your condition and goals, so you can get back to doing the things you love.

No two patients or injuries are the same, that's why your physical therapy experience should be tailored to your specific needs. Treatments may include Manual Therapy (including spinal manipulation), specific Strengthening and Flexibility exercises, Education and Training. Therapist continuing education is critical in remaining at the top of our game so you can remain at the top of yours.
Services
Conifer Physical Therapy was founded in 2014 by Mary Thuente, PT, MSPT, and is a locally owned and operated physical therapy clinic. Located in beautiful Conifer, Colorado, Conifer Physical Therapy serves the 285 corridor including Conifer, Bailey, Pine and Evergreen. We are committed to efficiently delivering quality service to our patients which is why we only offer one on one (PT to patient) visits.
Mary graduated with her Masters in Physical Therapy in 2000 from the University Of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She is a Colorado native and has always enjoyed the outdoor lifestyle that Colorado has to offer. She enjoys hiking, golfing, gardening, quilting, and photography. Kyle graduated from Indiana State University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020.
Every patient has a unique health history, diagnosis and personal goals. When you come for your first appointment, we will create a personalized treatment plan just for you. On average, a patient's first visit lasts about an hour. We typically ask patients to arrive 15 minutes early to sign-in, complete paperwork and/or change clothes.
The Footmaxx 3Dmaxx system uses highly advanced proprietary software to help our physical therapists further evaluate patients for knee, hip, low back, balance and biomechanical issues. The eight key foot landmarks (lateral heel, medial heel, five metatarsal heads and the hallux) are accurately isolated and tracked throughout the stance phase of gait during this analysis.

Mary and her team are helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and talented. Mary has been my PT for a few years and there's no obstacle she can't work around. She understands your goals, and she has an incredible number of techniques to get you there.
She and her staff are always learning new things to help their patients and Mary has gone above and beyond to help me stay healthy, flexible, strong and happy.

I am a patient at this office and have been for years, including during the past year when COVID happened. I see them change the bed/table linens and clean on every visit. Mary has helped me tremendously with my arm pain and I recommend this business to all my friends and family regularly. I spent several months at a different physical therapy location and never felt better. Mary on the other hand was able to help diagnose my issue and make the pain better within one visit. That is why I drive to ConiferPT from Littleton!

Conifer Physical Therapy was a great experience from beginning to end. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Mary is, without a doubt, the best physical therapist that I’ve worked with. She is incredibly knowledgeable and was successful in her diagnosis and treatment. I would highly recommend her.
Thank you Mary!

The staff is welcoming and Mary is amazing at how she can find several ways to treat your body. She is a calming influence and makes you feel like YOU CAN DO THIS! I admit I don't always do my exercises, but when I do, I know I will feel better. Mary is a gem and I look forward to going back to her for a refresher and more help.

I had spinal fusion surgery and have been going to Julia Stoner. She is an excellent therapist who first analyzed where I was in my recovery and then put together a plan tailored to help me reach my desired goals. Julia is very knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. I have made tremendous progress and couldn't be more please with my choice of therapists.

THANK GOD I went to see Mary at Conifer Physical Therapy! She worked her magic! I had been struggling with pain from an injury to my foot and really didn't expect it to ever go away. In just a few short months of consistently working with Mary and doing my exercises at home the pain went away. I am thrilled with the results and love working with Mary and her team.

Ashley at Conifer Physical Therapy is so good! She listens to what my goals for PT are, combined with paying attention to the what the doctor wants. She notes even the smallest pains and adjust exercises accordingly, and the home practice exercises she gives are incredibly useful! I also like that Ashley was able to explain my knee surgeries in better detail than even my own doctor! Her knowledge is thorough and she consistently knows exactly what stretches or strength building actions will work best.
