During his ten years at the prestigious UNC School of Medicine, Dr. S. Tyler Elkins-Williams completed residencies in General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery along with a Burn Surgery Fellowship. His education and experience make him uniquely qualified to join our staff and to offer his services to patients, existing and new.
This was Dr. Finn's first medical trip to Haiti. There is an overwhelming demand for medical care from coast to coast in Haiti. Dr. Finn and his team performed a wide variety of surgical procedures. Love Dr Finn and all the staff. I live in Raleigh and they are totally worth the drive to Chapel Hill. There is no hard sell and Dr Finn is an expert at looking at your face and recommending just what you need to look beautiful and nothing more. He does all the injections himself with a light hand and an artist's touch.

Sadly I had an unsatisfactory outcome in my septorhinoplasty with Dr. Finn and I would not recommend for someone to go here for rhinoplasty. If anyone would like to ask me any questions in regards to my experience I would be glad to share so that it may help others. I would hate for someone to have to go through what I did because the cost for revision is way too much and once you are left with bad results it can really effect you in a lot of ways. For the price I payed and everything I really do not understand why I ended up with the results I did. I am now left with

I had a massive allergy to surgical glue from reconstruction done by a surgeon in NYC. Dr. Finn very kindly offered to remove the glue as soon as I mentioned the problem and saw me that very same day. It was not an easy job. He corresponded with the NY surgeon and expertly removed the glue thereby stopping the allergy. I am very grateful for his reactivity, approacheability, his knowledgeable skills and his kind attention to his patients.

Dr. Finn is definitely experienced in what he does. The office is beautiful and tidy and the staff is so kind and sweet. I would recommend Dr. Finna to someone with mature skin wanting to turn back the clock. However if you are still young and trying to maintain he may be too modest for you. He prefers to do just a little natural looking tweaking here and there. He doesn't try to change you into someone else. But nevertheless worth seeing if he will give you what you want instead of falling into the wrong hands. He tells me 'no' to alot of things but I still like him anyway. LOL!

I will be forever grateful for Dr. Finn and his incredible staff. I received a biopsy report from my dermatologist indicating a basal cell carcinoma on my upper lip area. In a panic, I called Dr. Finn's office to get their recommendations for where I should go to have the Mohs Surgery removal and then to arrange for Dr. Finn to do the closure. I got the report on Monday morning and through his staff and the staff at Cary Skin Care Center, I was able to get both the Mohs Surgery and the reconstruction with Dr. Finn scheduled for the next day!
