My father spent a short time here but, during that short stay, the staff was incredible and very kind. The staff would sometimes cook him off menu items because he was such a persnickety eater. The staff did an amazing job keeping me informed of my fatherโs care and condition. There were plenty of activities available to keep the residents entertained, even a pet tortoise for the residents to see, and a lovely courtyard that was very peaceful. The facility was undergoing a renovation at the time, so I bet it is looking very nice now. Also, the facility had very competitive and easy to understand

The Mesa View staff has been wonderful with my dad. He has diabetes and does not always follow the rules of what he should and should not eat, but they monitor him closely. They keep in touch with me and let me know if his sugar levels are high or low. I want to acknowledge the med techs who are phenomenal! Also the girl who checks in on him and cleans his room rearranged his furniture to allow him to have easier access with his walker, and hung some of his pictures in his room so it feels a bit more like home. In fact everyone has been amazing, and I have complete confidence in my dad's care at

Residents don't get changed at night.
The administrator that is working there has no idea of what she's doing. She's aware of the situation. And does nothing about ..
Monday's is horrible day they don't have enough staff.
The kitchen is filthy..they don't have descent menu.
The person in charge of the medication is not properly trained... That place is horrible I would never leave a family member there...
I don't understand how is that place still open Horrible... The owner has no idea and if he does then that makes it even worse...
How do I know I worked there...

Villa La Mesa has changed ownership and the changes are already happening. You can see the new owners and Administrator care deeply for the residents and the environment they live in. They're concerned with the residents and their care, and have began to make very necessary changes in the right direction. The residents and some of the families I have interacted with are already so happy with the new regime. Eager to see what is to come here!
