This is not a review of MedicalXpress itself, but of certain products it carries. If the product you are buying is made in China and customer service is provided by the manufacturer, you might as well forget about the warranty. If the product breaks within 1 month you might be able to get a refund through your credit card. Otherwise don't bother.

My partner picked up the knee scooter I rented from Medical Xpress. It came without instructions, which seemed odd (and as it turns out is unsafe). I rented the scooter for one week then called at the end of that week to rent it for another 3 weeks. The woman on the phone said that would be $140 per month but that she'd take off the charge for the week I'd already had the scooter.
I kept injuring myself on the scooter so I made arrangements to return it early. I called and let Medical Xpress know. This was 2 weeks into the rental, so I should have paid $80 total for $40/week -- or

Do not use this company for cpap machines. They were given a current doctors order for a new machine for my husband who has used cpaps for 25 years. I was told all they had to do was contact insurance. Instead they contacted the doctor. BUT NOT THE DOCTOR IN THE CURRENT WRITTEN OTDER BUT THE DOCTOR IN A TOWN WE USED TO LIVE IN 9 YEARS AGO. We haven't seen that doctor in 9 years.
He told them they could not fill an order in his town (the town we don't live in).

My cardiologist told me to get compression stockings and I was unable to find the right size or pressure until today when I went to Medical Express in San Antonio. The worker was knowledgeable and helped me find the correct pair and after wearing them for the rest of the day I can really see a difference in the size and feel of my ankles. I will go back for all of my medical supplies from now on.

I've been here twice and that's quite enough. Let me talk about product variety and service.
The first time I came I wanted a ankle brace. I'd injured my ankle and it was swelling. Assuming this was a medical supply, I thought naturally there would be a wide selection of ankle braces. There were about 3 and they all seemed to be covered in dust. That should have been the red flag, that turned me away. The model I chose was pretty old school and I had overpaid for it when I could have gotten something better. I went to HEB after tiring of dealing with the low quality and resistance

I'm an RN and I used to buy all my scrubs at this store. I even recommended this store to my coworkers when they asked "where is a good place to buys scrubs?" XMed just lost a customer and all recommendations to friends. I bought a new scrub top yesterday. I grabbed the wrong size and I went in today to exchange or return. They didn't have my correct size in the top I wanted so I had to return it. They charged a 20% restocking fee to return the top. A scrub top. This is criminal! I would understand why they would charge a restocking fee for something difficult, like an oxygen

Xmed Medical Superstore is the physical location for two separate business entities owned by the same parent company. There's the retail storefront you see, and a call and processing center behind a closed door in back of the sales counter for the Xmed Medical and Oxygen business. You'll note the odd distinction between the businesses because there are two adjacent doors for entrance a few feet apart, each labeled with their respective business branding. Regardless of which door you enter, you wind up in the retail showroom, with no physical separation beyond which door you came through

I have been buying all my scrubs here since I was in X-Ray school in 2013. I have never had any problems what so ever. If they did not have what I needed they would order it for me and I would receive it in a timely manner.
The staff are very helpful and courteous. I Have been to other scrub stores in different cities and this store is absolutely the vey best.
The prices are the best I have seen (if you want quality scrubs) compared to other stores. This is the only store I will ever shop at.

I can't say enough about the extraordinary service, convenience and overall excellence at Xmed. The warmth and helpfulness of the staff there can't be overstated. You don't expect to find the Xanadu of customer service at a medical supply store.
I arrived 30 minutes before they closed, frantic to find several medical equipment pieces for my mother, who'd been released from the hospital early. XMed was my "Hail Mary pass." No other store in the city had ALL the items I needed in one place: a safety

My doctor ordered a wheelchair for me at this place and it was a nightmare! There were several calls made to this place to find out what was going on. First it was the fax machine wasn't work, then there was confusion on paperwork and then in the end it was the fax again! Never mind the fact that when I spoke to the woman on the phone, she sounded overwhelmed and was impatient. She said; " I am just very busy and I already sent the forms to your doctor and he never returned the signed forms." The forms had been faxed seven days prior to the last conversation with this person

I'm a little shocked I didn't know about this place before! Scrubs are reasonably priced and you get 15% off if you mention their Craigslist ad . There are also specials like buy two get one free!
I was out for new scrubs so didn't really look around at medical supplies but it looked they had plenty of things in stock.
I am most happy about my nifty new red ink pen that looks like a syringe with blood in it- Only $2.99 to freak out patients and co-workers...priceless!
