My mom had passed away not too long ago, and her garden in her backyard had withered away. Hence, I needed the dead plants/planters, old furniture, an old metal shed, and anything not rooted in the ground to be removed. Nixxit was recommended to me, so I requested a quote through Yelp. I wanted to get rid of an old mattress, so I set up a curbside pickup for the next day. I requested the whole thing be contactless. I put the mattress on the sidewalk and received a text with pictures that it had been picked up and received the invoice via text. It was the quickest and easier option for me.

Great experience on cleanout day
I needed to have a large amount of household goods removed as I prepare to sell my property. I had used other junk removal companies in the past and was disappointed with how they handled items, throwing them carelessly into the truck and making me doubt their intent to repurpose items I believed were still usable. I envisioned the entire truck being driven away and immediately dumped into the landfill.
I searched for junk companies online and was impressed with the detailed website of Nixxit and especially encouraged by their statement about how they donate items

I called them around 9:00 this morning and by 11:30 my basically new but broken (and already uninstalled) dishwasher and over-the-range microwave were removed by two friendly and professional employees. This was the best customer experience I have had since I can remember.

Today, one of your wonderful crews came out to help us get our house ready for new carpets and furniture. They were cheerful, quick, and super helpful. We showed them what needed to be removed and in no time they had filled their huge truck to capacity. They were very careful not to scratch the walls or ding the doors of our home. My boyfriend and I had to clear out his storage locker, and some small items from my apartment after I moved. The folks from Nixxit were amazing.
We needed to move the date, the size of the job, and our location. They accommodated all of this on 2 days notice.
They had both locations cleared within 2 hours.
The gentlemen were courteous, friendly, and helpful.
I love that they are a local business and work to ensure as much of the stuff as possible is rehoused, or recycled. If I need junk removal services in the Bay Area again, I will call them without heaitation.

Nixxit helped me clean out my Mom and Dads house after their passing. Bryce ans Tyler worked with me on 5 loads. They were so professional and extremely helpful and made a difficult process so much easier. They were kind and compassionate and even came back after their long day to get a last load out prior to the house closing. Setting up the service was easy. We were moving internationally and so had to get rid of a bunch of stuff including a lot of furniture that wouldn't be making the move with us. This team is amazing!! This is my first review ever but I had to share with others how great my experience was. I booked online, instantly received confirmation and consistent updates. They removed things from multiple areas of my home (including a queen sized sofa bed from the third floor!!) with no complaints. The team arrived on time, was very professional, and made sure I was completely satisfied before leaving. Their prices were reasonable but the lightness of my home now that everything has been removed is priceless!! I’m so glad I saw their truck while driving to work and made the decision

Using a Nixxit service was efficient. Making an online appointment was easy, one click. I got a text reminder one day before my appointment. Also a Nixxit guys will give you a courtesy call before 30 minutes' arrival and a pricing as they find out what item to remove. Two guys came in and removed my dead dish washer. It took about 15 to 20 minutes for them to cut off a cord that was attached a wall from the appliance. They are committed to get a job done and friendly. I recommend this company and will definitely use again if other items need to be removed.

Was so happy to find a company that doesn't want to just fill up the landfill! A lot of the items we had were really still very useful for someone-
My stepfather passed away and we had a whole house to deal with. The guys from Nixxit were great - hard working and really nice!! We had an old waterbed they had to remove, so it wasn't easy. Really happy with the service I received from Nixxit - they were able to service me the same day and response time was super fast. Pricing was fair and I liked that they had a pricing sheet that really explained their services.
Work was done quickly and neatly and the Nixxit employee was friendly and respectful of my yard (where Pick up was located).

Thanks Bryce and Trevor and team! I made an appointment day before over the phone. $149 flat rate to remove a sofa. They gave me a two hour window, they called 30 min before they arrived, showed up on time, and took less than 10 min to take away the old couch. All wearing masks!
