Services
Most of the time heel pain is associated with plantar fasciitis but it is not always plantar fasciits. Hallmark symptom of Plantar Fasciitis is first steps out of bed hurt in the morning. So everyone has a plantar fascia on the sole of their foot. This plantar fascia is a strong fibrous tissue band which runs from the heel bone to the toes.
Many women lose the fat pad on the balls of the foot as they age and can be worsened with the use of high-heeled shoes. When you lose your fat pad to the ball of the foot, your bones feel more prominent. Dr. Khalifa injects filler to the ball of the foot to help with pain and discomfort. These are just some of the experiences of people with extremely sweaty feet, or plantar hyperhidrosis.
So, how does telemedicine work and how does it relate to telehealth? Making use of telemedicine services is very easy. Traditionally, the service uses an online account or a toll-free phone number. Patients request a visit, submitting basic information on their condition, and then the physician either accepts or declines the visit, or schedules it for the future.

I highly recommend Dr. Khalifa to anyone and everyone in need of a podiatrist in the area. Upon my first visit, Dr. Khalifa himself came outside to make sure I found the office easily (it's a little hidden), checked me in, took my insurance, etc. (yes, he does all of this himself!), and saw me right away. In solving my issue, Dr. Khalifa was completely transparent about what he would be doing, ensuring I was comfortable and my pain was mitigated every step of the way. He's kind, patient, and dedicated, giving patients all the necessary time and attention needed.

I visited Danny a few times for severe pain in my left foot. I had tried store bought insoles, stretching and icing, nothing worked. I am on my feet a lot for work and I play sports numerous times a week, the pain got old quick. I visited Danny who immediately identified the issue (plantar fasciitis) and confirmed it with scans. He ordered me custom insoles, sandals and put me on a stretching regimen. Within a week or two I was back out playing again without limitations!
