We are very proud of our boys and girls competitive team programs! Since we opened in 1997, we have produced many successful gymnasts and have won numerous team and individual awards. Please call our office to set up an appointment to receive additional information on the team program. It is South Coast Gymnastics policy not to discuss Competitive Team fees or schedules until prospective team members are evaluated by a South Coast Gymnastics coach.Please call or email the gym to schedule an evaluation.
Services
Our academy program is excellent for fun and exercise, and it is essential foundation for children who wants to become a competitive team member. We offer classes for kids ages 3 to 18 years old. Each class is limited to 8 students per instructor. On rare occasions for high demand classes, an additional coach will be brought in to allow more students to enroll or participate.
Birthday parties at South Coast Gymnastics are a great way to introduce gymnastics and tumbling to active children and also to let experienced gymnasts use their gymnastics skills in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. 1.5 hours of gymnastics instruction includes an obstacle course, use of all major events (floor, beam, vault, and bars), and other games!
The South Coast Gymnastics Summer Camp is a fun, gymnastics-oriented camp for boys and girls of all skill levels for ages 5 and up. It is a great way to keep in shape over the summer and work on gymnastics skills. One of our South Coast Gymnastics coaches leads the group to engage the kids and learn some gymnastics!
The South Coast Spring Gymnastics Camp is open to boy and girl gymnasts ages 5 and up. It is for all skill levels of gymnasts, including beginners. Our participants will work on gymnastics skills, play games, and have free time to enjoy our gym. Registration forms are available here! Please print out the application in order for it to be processed at the front desk.
The boys classes will focus on the floor, pommel, rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar events. Like the girls classes, each level consists of specific skills they must master before they can move up a level. General goals of the classes include physical, mental, and emotional improvements. Pertaining to gymnastics in particular, it is the goal of the classes to increase the flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination of the gymnast.
