Dental X-rays are a vital part of a dental examination There are two main types of dental X-rays: those taken with the X-ray film inside the mouth (intraoral) and those taken with the X-ray film outside the mouth (extraoral). Intraoral X-rays are the ones most commonly used. They provide detailed evidence of the growth of developing teeth, the health of tooth roots and surrounding bone, including the jaw.

I used to be scared to go to the dentist, but not anymore 😁. Dr. Herbie and Dr. M, (Dr. Harold Mendelson), are understanding, gentle, thorough, and abve all, understand my pain tolerance issues, or lack thereof. The same goes for the hygienists and the office staff. A great group of people who continue to educate me about the care of my teeth, and always with a good sense of humor.

Since day 1, which has been over 14+ years now, I have ALWAYS had a GREAT experience at Mendelson Family Dentistry!!!! You're probably thinking oh she probably has perfect teeth...nope, well not at first. The first time I went I had an implant consult. I was scared but was treated with care that day, and ever since. Going every 6 months is actually a joy 😊😊. This is definitely a family environment and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!!!!

I have been a patient with this practice for 20+ years. I love the entire team. They make you feel comfortable and treat you like family. My hygienist Gen rocks. Gen does a fabulous job when she cleans my teeth. And she is always so gentle with me. I'm no longer afraid of going to the dentist! Mendelson Family Dentistry is staffed with the kindest and friendliest personnel. The moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with a smile and pleasantries. While waiting to be seen, calming music is heard, comfortable chairs are available and beautiful photos are on display taken from all over the world by Dr. H. I’ve never had to wait longer than a few moments before I am escorted to the dental chair, which is unheard of.
The hygienists and dental assistants are by far the most gentle and professional you could ask for. Dr. H. and Dr. Herbie are the sweetest, most talented and CARING

I came in frustrated and feeling like there was know solution for my chipped FRONT tooth, ended up getting a root canal a hygiene check and a ,cap.The technology the patience and the experience get better with every visit. My husband and I have been their patients for 6 years. They are very knowledgeable, professional, respectful and consistently demonstrate genuine care for our well being. Both the doctors and hygenists are adept @ performing the task @ hand without causing pain or, if so, very, very minimum (this is highly important to me [I've had a few very painful & bloody experiences some years ago]).
