The Dacota Assisted Living has provided care in Maryland since 1983. Originating in Baltimore, MD, we now have two locations in historic Aberdeen, in Harford County, Maryland. Having to place a parent or loved one in a care facility can be a daunting process. The costs can be astronomical depending on the amount of care required, and line item billing can add up.
At the Dacota, we charge by the room. Our fee covers nearly everything and does not increase as a resident ages or needs additional care. We adjust the services provided based on the changing needs of the resident, not the cost.

My Mother, Lucille is currently a resident at The Dacota House. The staff is wonderful. We are so thankful to have found a home that is more like a place to live that treats her like family. There are only 10 residents. The staff is very well aware of everything going on with her. They are pleasant and professional. Its a difficult decision to find the right place for someone you love so dearly. We feel blessed to have her at The Dacota House.

My mother was in The Dakota for 3 months for hospice care. I could not have asked for a better place for her. The care that she received was amazing. The love that she received was exceptional. The staff is the most caring people I have met. I want to thank everyone who took care of her. You will never know how much your love, understanding, and caring means to me.

My aunt has been a resident at Dacota for five years. She has received loving and affectionate care.❤️ The residents are like one big family and the house itself is like a warm and cozy home. 🏠. She is very happy there and I am very happy having her there! So grateful we found Mark. He was an answer to a prayer!! 🌻🌻

I went to this assisted living facility as a health care provider to check in and evaluate care client's were getting. They were always well fed and were always getting the medical care they needed when they needed it. Medication was dispenced as prescribed b;y the client's medical provider. The facility is clean and neat. The client's were always clean and wearing clean clothing. The food provided was withen the diet needed by the patient's and was well prepared and nutritious.
