We started with a few part-time children and have grown into a full time, state-licensed child care center. We value each child as an individual. We are influenced by the philosophy of Reggio Emilia and play based learning. We wish to engage the mind of the young child by providing an attractive, child focused, art influenced, creative, and welcoming environment.

Services
Little Bird Preschool and Child Care was founded in 2012 as a part time, home-based, preschool and was later relocated to 7509 Canyon Drive. The preschool became a licensed child care center that fit the needs of part-time and full-time students in southwest Amarillo. People with a big heart for children and feel that our future needs to be nurtured by the means of educating our youngest children to be great citizens of this planet.

Little Bird has been great with my son. The Adamchaks are very responsive and really care about the kids. There is flexibility for individual children's needs. My son especially appreciates the focus on arts and crafts and the extensive outdoor time. He even learned the word "phalanges" (as in the bones in your fingers) during one of the themed weeks! Not bad for a 3-year-old. I like the focus Little Bird puts on practical application and play-based learning.

Little Bird Preschool is so unique! You will not find another preschool that compares! Ms. Sara and any other teacher that has directly worked with my son have been remarkable. They are extremely patient, nurturing, and devoted to finding what works best for my son. ART, EXPLORING, SINGING, & DANCING, are just a few of the versatile activities they provide our kids! Little Bird Preschool and Child Care is the best!

This was the first and last daycare my daughter has attended let me just say We LOVE Little birds and are beyond happy with the care our child has received! Usually when you walk into a daycare you get an uneasy feeling and start worry but NOT with this daycare, the owners have a true passion for kids and make sure that their employees share that passion! My daughter loves all her teachers and we love all the sentimental little crafts they send home with us I could Go on all day about this place but bottom line coming from a parent to a parent I would Highly recommend Little Birds to anyone I know

We love Little Birds. We started here in 2017 with my middle son. He attended pre-k 4 for the spring semester. He went on to Kindergarten that fall at my older son's school and was very well prepared. He was very prepared because of his time with Miss Sara, even just for one semester! We took a break after he finished because I was a stay at home mom at the time.
In the fall of 2017, I went back to full time teaching. My husband was able to take our youngest son to daycare in Hereford, where he worked at the time because it worked better for my new schedule. However, he had a job change in April

We love Little Bird Preschool! We have 4 children and have been going there for 3 years. We love the creative and artsy aspect of this school. My kids also love playing outside. The owners and teachers are so easy going and patient with them. It's nice because they offer a 3-5 day option, which is good for parents that only work part time. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We have been using Little Bird Preschool since 2013 and are so happy with them! Owners, John and Sara, are the most patient and compassionate people with amazing hearts. The staff is wonderful and treat our kids like their own. Our oldest child was beyond prepared for kindergarten as Little Bird uses a great balance of play, creativity, and gentle structure needed to aid children in development. We are moving out of state and are sad to leave our Little Bird family behind. We highly recommend them!

We have only been attending since August but I have already since such a difference in my three year old son's learning. I love the way they approach and teach the kids here. The staff is so amazing and the owners are so friendly, approachable and work to help make your child's experience with them the best they can. We hope to use Little Bird once our youngest is of age to attend!
