Where do I begin?! Brought my 2001 SeaDoo Challenger 20’ to Amazing Marine in order for Bud to rebuild my Mercury 240 EFI powerhead. Bud said that he would be able to rebuild the engine for $3,000 or less and “Get me back on the water”. Bud rebuilt the engine and called me when it was ready to pick up. When I arrived there was a kid (who I am 99.9% sure was no mechanic) working on the boat trying to slap everything together last minute. They went ahead to try and start the engine and it struggled to begin with but finally started and had water spraying all over because “one of the hoses

I should have told my buddy no way when they recommend this place after I read the reviews. My buddy has a jet ski shop and said they can run a mercury diag on my engine.
I called in to amazing marine and said I have a mercury that needs an engine diag. 6 beeps when I turn the key. It won’t start.
Literally 5 seconds into the conversation the owner is telling me he won’t work on it unless I fix the steering and accelerator cable. I can see the $150 diag I asked for turning into a $3,000 real quick. Run from this place, don’t walk. That’s my 1 star rating.

Went there to get a posted for sale motor I called in advance to make sure it’s in good running order was told it’s ready to be used on water. Brought it home hooked it up started it , two out of four cylinder not working, impeller not working water in the oil , motor was junk , I can’t remember ever being so openly tried to be cheated like that, I mean they got mad at me for wanting my motor and money back ,, how the heck you do a business like that??

They rebuilt my Mercruiser 4.3L and it runs fantastic! I got quotes from all over town. Bud Banks at Amazing Marine was recommended by a neighbor. They weren't the cheapest, or the most expensive. I felt like they cared about getting me back on the water, not just getting my money. They explained the break in procedure in detail and looked at my Four Winns after I ran it the way they explained. I have been back several times for various maintenance services since. Highly recommended.

I contacted amazing Marine about one of their Suzuki 200 Motors, which she said it was an absolutely perfect TurnKey motor. I brought my perfectly good running Yamaha in for an even exchange. After him giving me the run-around twice I finally got my boat back. I immediately put it in the water and it's stalled twice and I almost did not make it back. I called him and he said bring it back and I'll fix it, I told him I wanted mine back. He told me he would exchange it right away, but when I went back my boat was absolutely filthy not ready to be picked up nothing was installed, nothing was properly

I try to go out of my way to support local shops but they sure make it hard. A place down south was extremely helpful and knowledgeable but they are out of my way and I can't make their hours. Decided to try this place to order some parts for a Mercury Outboard. First try, they said they would call me back when the guy is back in the shop. Never got a call back so I tried again later and the guy didn't really try to help...just said he couldn't get the parts. Not sure how he came to that conclusion because I had yet to give him the part #'s or what they were yet. Seems like he just didn't want
