Services
At Huff Funeral Home, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
In 1873 Jonathan "JG" Huff started Huff Funeral Home and began a tradition of serving Yadkin County families. At the turn of the century and upon JG's death his son Charles "CB" Huff entered the profession upon completion of his training at Reynard School of Embalming in New York City. He then partnered with Bob Burchette and Huff Burchette Funeral Home was formed.
There are two facets of the design process. First, we ask you to consider how you wish to honor and celebrate the life. When those important decisions are made, we'll turn to the issue of how you wish to care for the physical remains. It's about bringing those you love together, at a time of loss. It's a natural thing to do, and over time, has become a socially-expected practice.
The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members. Pre-payment will protect you from the rising cost of prices, and it will not be a financial burden on your loved ones.
Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.

All of the staff were very kind and welcoming. The funeral home is well-kept and comfortable. Everyone was willing to help and accommodate in any way. I could tell they genuinely care for the families they provide for!
I will say the staff is very timely in responding to phone calls, but it takes awhile for emails to be responded to. That’s the only annoyance I had. Overall, they made the process of organizing the ceremony as easy as it could be for someone who is grieving.
