Beautiful lightweight high-quality lashes are used and applied individually, one lash extension per one natural lash. Whether it's for a special occasion or daily wear, natural lash extensions will open up your eyes and give you that mascara look without the hassle of applying mascara. Our signature set!
Our eyelash extensions are applied individually 1mm away from the eyelid to your natural eyelashes using a medical-grade formaldehyde-free adhesive. Lash extensions come in different lengths, thicknesses, and curls, resulting in very subtle and natural to very noticeable and dramatic, based on our preferences.

I have had a wonderful experience at both the Colma and San Bruno locations. The team members are all professional and kind. The scheduling process is seamless and easily accessible.
The studios are clean and welcoming. I'm so pleased with my lashes. Initially, I decided to get them for a wedding and the holidays. I am so pleased that I am continuing the service.
You won't be disappointed!

I recently moved to the Bay Area from Los Angeles and I was looking for a new lash place.
I'll start by saying I'm particular about my lashes. My previous lash lady was extremely good. I stuck with her for four years before moving here. To give you an idea of how good she was, she used surgical/dental loupes to place extensions on my lashes and they would last 4-6 weeks.
So when you find a good lash artist, it's hard to move on. I searched Yelp and tried Dolly Effect because it had multiple 5 start reviews. It may be acceptable for others, but it just didn't meet my standard

So happy with the service I received here!! It was my first time getting lash extensions and they were so patient, walking me through the process and making recommendations.
The guy at the front desk was AMAZING. He explained all the different types and styles, what was the most popular and what he would recommend based on my eye shape, the way my lashes grew, and the fact that I was a first timer. Never tried to upsell or be pushy, even said some things I won't need to purchase right away because I should see how things go the first time.
Application was so relaxing, only thing is that

Update to my previous review. I changed the lash type to hybrid/mixed when I went in for a refill and also got lashes a little longer. Made all the difference!
Giving a very generous 3 stars because:
I've never seen lash extensions as janky as mine. Seriously, the "extensions" are just as long as my natural lashes, but more unruly. It's like a traffic jam on my right eyelid with the lash extensions going every which way.
I was lied to during my initial consultation before getting the lash extensions. I asked, verbatim, if my blonde lashes would be visible and was told

- I hate crazy big lashes, and they really listened to me and examined my natural lashes to see what would best suit me...they go from consulting the length/placement of lashes, curve, and type of glue!
- Quick, little over an hour. Refill sessions faster!
- Lasts sooo long! These were the first lashes I felt okay with in the shower!! You know how you'd usually get blind in the shower lol, but nope I was wiping them and everything.
- Easy to make, cancel, reschedule appointments via texting!

This was my second time getting lash refill with Dolly Effect, first time at this location.
The staff were polite and efficient like usual.
My lash technician treated me with care and gave me a head massage towards the end of the service. She was very nice!

4 years later (almost 5), this is still my go-to lash extension place!! I have seriously never gone elsewhere and I will be staying loyal to Dolly Effect! They have been doing my extensions for day-to-day wear, special events, vacations, you name it! I've gotten natural lashes and also volume with more curl lashes and every time I am never disappointed!
I came back recently after taking a long break due to COVID (and they weren't open) and the quality of work and service is still the same! I used to always stick with one lash tech but I had someone else help me this time around and

Found Dolly Effect on Yelp, and decided to go for my first lash extension refill based on the positive reviews here.
The staff were friendly, explained thoroughly about the whole procedure, and helped me with customizing the style I wanted.
Highly recommend! The lashes turned out amazing, the studio was clean and beautifully decorated. Totally worth the money!

Dolly effect has been giving me great eyelashes ever since I started with them. Their customer service is really amazing because they take the time to explain every detail with regards to the eyelash they'll be putting on you. They also listen to any of your wants and they try to accommodate it. I love the calming atmosphere and how quiet they talk and move.

I found Dolly Effect through Yelp. They were great to work with and booked my first appt efficiently.
Nancy was very friendly and helped me choose the right lashes etc. I did request for sensitive glue and she said I wouldn't need it since I didn't really have issues with eyelash extensions from my first experience (over 10 years ago). I wish I did push for the sensitive glue because I had a ton of issues when I had them on. My eyes were REALLY DRY during my entire trip and when I returned home from my trip I called them to get them removed as soon as possible. They charge around

The lady (name starts with K) was very friendly when I arrived and explained everything I needed to know about lash extensions. Since it was my first time and because I generally wear glasses, we decided on 10, C, and dolly effect for a more natural and daily wear look.

The Dolly Effect team is incredible - not only are they super communicative, they are FAST. I was able to get a full set in less than two hours and my lashes have never looked better. They are exactly what I wanted, and their team patiently walked me through their offerings and what would look best for my eye shape. The prices are a bit higher than other eyelash places, however, you get what you pay for. I've gone to many other eyelash places & the quality here is top-notch; that's why I keep coming back! I've had a full, volume fill that has lasted me about two months.
It's also very relaxing (they give you a short head massage afterward!!!) I love how they have the air purifier/fan and spa music as background noise.

I can definitely see why this place has five stars. Their prices are very reasonable, amazing work, and very professional. I learned so many insightful things from lash care, to styles/sets of lashes and they even gave me this cute little goodie bag for my first appointment. As a Vegas local and a beauty salon owner, I'm extremely particular about my lashes. I was skeptical at first because I'm already get used to the dramatic effects that I usually get from my lash tech in Vegas, but oh boy... Dolly Effect proved me wrong. I texted at 12 am in the morning, desperately in need of a next day appointment and Nancy managed to squeeze me in, scheduling was quick and easy, you have to put down $50 deposit to secure your spot, which is very understandable, especially during the COVID pandemic. I'm giving one star because I have to. I booked an appointment at their Colma location and had the date and time set, arrived on time, but they never showed and the place was locked. They even confirmed with me the day before that I would be there on time and said if I was 10 minutes late they would cancel. I'm just writing this so that you are aware they may not show up to your preplanned appointment. I took off work in order to come here and they did not respect my time. They also have not yet paid me my $50 deposit back.

It has been years sincee I've got my lashes done and I was quite skeptical about doing it again and after reading reviews over and over. I must say I am grateful and happy Dolly was around my neck of the woods. I had a regular girl I use to go too but the lashes never did come out to the way I wanted it. The customer service right when you walk in is super. Super friendly and courteous and listens to your needs and gives you their opinion as well. I am all for their honest opinion. Thank you so much for helping me select the best lashes for my eyes.

I just did my lash extension here and I was afraid because before my eyelashes fell off after removal and extension at a prior store many years ago.
But they were patient and took the time to explain and consult with me on the look etc!

I like to switch up my look based on my social calendar, so I've tried volume, natural, and hybrid - they get it right each and every time!
Booking or moving an appointment is such a breeze, special shout out to Nancy who handles all the scheduling. Also, extra stars for Jonathan, who is always there to greet me with a smile.

Astor is EXCELLENT! I can't say enough good things about her. Was doing lash extensions for a few years, when I found her. Now been seeing her about a year, and I still only go to Dolly Effect for my lashes.
