Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that's triggered by a terrifying event, either experiencing it or witnessing it.
Dr. Miller is trained in Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is also trained in Anesthesia and Pain Management. Because of her broad experience, Dr. Miller is uniquely qualified to treat psychological trauma, depression and anxiety that can occur as a result of injury or disability. Dr. Christopher Hannon is a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Family Psychiatry and Therapy invites you into our private office with a comfortable, safe environment. Your first appointment is primarily an information-gathering session with Dr. Miller. It is important to learn a lot about you and your history in a short amount of time in order to properly evaluate your concerns and arrive at a possible diagnosis.
My middle daughter has struggled with ADHD and Dr. Miller and Wendy have been so great! They are also counseling my other two daughters since we have just gone through a nasty divorce. I would not hesitate to recommend that office at all. I have never felt rushed or that they did not listen to my concerns.

Working with Micheal has been a multi beneficial experience. Micheal has the ability to listen and make you think about events that you previously buried. He makes me see positive changes in handling these events. In several instances, he has added positive change in my thinking that previously was negative. Micheal makes it very clear that he will only have you talk about a negative event and stop you. Micheal is not my friend but my therapist for which I respect him

I have been with FP&T after my accident and have had therapy with Michael Alvez weekly and C. Hannon for prescriptions, they are both great, Michael has worked we me over my ptsd and anxiety, and have helped my with practical ways to overcome the situation. He is attentive to details, recalls and connects the details of our sessions and is positive and encouraging. the office is very helpful in follow up and works hard to be flexible with changes in the schedules. Thank you all!

This place is run HORRIBLY. I was having an issue scheduling my next appt in order for my prescription to be renewed and the front desk girl told me she’d call me right back because she had to speak to her supervisor. It’s been about a week and NOT A SINGLE CALL BACK. Because of this, I have been without my medication for TEN days now. COMPLETELY irresponsible to leave patients in the dark when they are depending on medication that they’ve been dependent on for FOUR YEARS. I feel horrifically sick because of the poor communication from this place. This isn’t the only issue I’ve had with
