Services
Westlake Smile Design offers a full array of dental services to help you maintain healthy teeth. With Sedation Dentistry you are given a small pill to take an hour prior to your dental appointment. Crowns are synthetic caps, usually made of a material like porcelain, placed on the top of a tooth. Bridges are natural-looking dental appliances that can replace a section of missing teeth.
The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff's training, professional credentials and work experience. Dr. David Hakimi has been living in Southern California since his move from Toronto, Canada in 1988. He attended Birmingham High School in the San Fernando Valley upon his arrival, where he met his close friend and current business partner Dr. Armon Eben.

We operate in a very comfortable and inviting environment. From the moment you step into our Westlake Village dental office, you will feel like part of the family. It is our first priority to make sure that every visit to our office is everything you expect it to be and more. My teeth required a lot of work during the cleaning because I missed several months since my last visit.
We use several methods to help patients relax for their appointments. We have a wonderful, friendly staff. We bake fresh bread daily to give the office a nice aroma. We have 50 LCD televisions in each operatory to keep our patients minds occupied from dentistry. Aside from providing a warm, calming atmosphere, we use sedation dentistry to make any patient feel completely relaxed and comfortable.

I relocated to the US from my home country. I had several issues with my teeth before and was very concerned about finding a Dr that care about my condition and alleviate the pain. I needed implants, crowns and fillings. I came to Dr. Eben with the uncertainty if it will work, but it has been amazing. Pain in my gums for several years is gone, I have my crows and anytime I need anything, gets the best solution. The staff is lovely and pleasant. I totally recommend Dr Eben and Westlake Smile Design!

I can not say enough about this Dentist . I was originally with a different one in Agoura and all he wanted to do was extract and implant, and it was Dr. Eben that saved every one of my teeth that the other Doctor said would have to go... I then advised by grandson to try Dr Eben, since he had been traumatized by the same doctor in Agoura, and he is now an admirer of Dr, Eben. As a teen, my grandson was so scared to go back to a dentist and the whole office at Westlake Dental kept him calm and helped, not only to fix what needed fixing, but also renewed his trust in a Dentist... Dr. Eben and Wendy were great. I went in for what I thought was going to be a root canal and placement of a permanent crown. To my pleasant surprise, Dr. Eben said I wouldn't need a root canal. The permanent crown was placed perfectly and I'm looking forward to eating ice cream again. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Westlake Smile Design.

Great doctor and staff! Dr. Hakimi is very skilled and probably the best dentist I’ve been too (and I’ve been to a lot of dentists). Sandra is also very caring and concerned about my treatment. They’re good at what they do and care about customer experience which can’t be beat. Highly recommend!

I have been visiting Westlake Smile Design since 2 1/2 years and have nothing than good things to say.
The office staff is very friendly, Nada the hygienist is excellent. II don't think I ever had a better cleaning than with her. A cleaning is something I used to be dreading, but with her it almost feels like a spa for the mouth. She is calm, gentle and very thorough.
Dr Eben has helped me with several crowns, and I never felt pain, or stress. I also like that he really takes his time with you, and that he explains everything.

Had an issue with a crown from a different dentist. It was placed poorly and I ended up with a bone infection. I had a crown for about 20 years so it was time for an implant. Dr. Hakim said he could try to add a crown since I was concerned with the cost of an implant, which I appreciated. I decided to go with a crown after all. It's been as good an experience you can have with extreme dental work. The staff are always friendly and make a point to know my name. Dr. Hakim is very nice and take concerns into consideration. Highly recommend them!

I have known Dr. Hakimi since almost five years ago, when my wife ended it with broken teeth right after her pregnancy!! She was not in good condition, of course, but Dr. Hakimi went above and beyond to make her happy, and he treated her like a family member.
Today, I had two root canals, and all I can say, I can not stress enough how smooth the process was!! Unbelievable!

I had ZERO pain during the procedure, and still, I feel no pain or even discomfort after 3 hr.

Was referred to Westlake Smile Design by my mother-in-law when I was new to the area, and I'm so happy I found this place! Traditionally I hate going to the dentist, but they make it so comfortable. The office is clean with updated equipment and they even have TVs you can watch while you're having your dental work done. Dr. Eben has filled some of my cavities and Wendy did Zoom whitening on me. Both were attentive and great experiences, and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a smooth and pleasant time at the dentist!

I was really impressed with the office and staff. I really liked Dr. Eben and "Wendy" his assistant. I felt like they really cared about the job they were doing, and it was evident in the outcome. The whole experience was really comfortable and painless. And as it turns out I have several friends that already go to Westlake smile design. I highly recommend them... Hence the five stars :-)

PAINLESS dental work. Masterful anesthesia injections. No pinch, no sharp flush of pain. He takes his time like a patient lover, lol Dr. Eben is a dream when it comes to dental work. He's gentle, communication is thorough as he explains the process and he works efficiently. He fixed a bad crown and filled 3 cavities in one visit and I didn't even feel it. And his assistant Wendy is charming, funny as she makes your comfort an absolute priority. It's worth the drive, worth the dime. See pics, it's clean. Your mouth will be sooo happy and your smile will shine!

Dr Eban and the staff here has been great. I hadn't been to the dentist in a long time so I was a little worried but everything went much smoother than I could have imagined. Appointments were easy to make, reminders on when to come, and staff was very helpful to answer all my billing questions.
Also masks and temperature are taken during these covid times so that made me feel safe. Thanks again!
