Dan and Brenda Cote began their business in 1994 by installing their first Reverse Osmosis treated water vending machine at a local grocery store. For many years they focused on "Pure Water" that could be bought at 40 vending machines throughout Maine, with locations that included grocery stores and kiosks.
Aqua-Max of Maine offers full and custom installation on all of our products, systems and electric wiring. All of our staff carry an extensive portable lab with them. I got an ironblaster installed. I was not told it needed annual maintainance or what that entailed. I had been told the system did not require changing filters or chemicals. So when I got a card in the mail a year later I was angry about not being told there was maintenance. I also did not think it needed anything because it worked well and didn't require filters or chemicals. I ignored it. Fast forward several years i call them. Had a carbon water system installed a few years ago paid 2400 they said if I had to change the media it would be 600 bucks. I called recently to see if they could change it they told me 1800 bucks for just the carbon at there cost. I found it online for 600 bucks and did it myself. Pretty sure they are price gouging. Beware.

We had a water system installed when we bought our house the seller picked this company. We had issues with the bubblier and the re Gen process almost sense day one. After multiple phone calls to re set the system they set out a tech to fix the issue. We had to have a tech come out a couple times before they ordered parts. We where told not to pay a part of the repair by the tech but the office has forced us to pay even though they did not fix it originally. One word......run. In all my life I have never been treated so poorly. We lost our water the day before I had to travel for business for two weeks. I call aqua max on a Sunday they are closed, ok I understand and leave a message. They call back promptly on Monday morning and come right out.

I had a radon air & water treatment system installed in 2015 by Aquamax also a water softener and some filters. They came recommended by our realtor when we bought our home. They were all nice enough and seemed to be knowledgeable in getting us the right system and not trying to up sell me on something we did not need. I am perfectly capable of installing this equipment myself but for resale reasons decided to have it done by a radon mitigation professional.

Had them install a radon air & water system on a property I was selling. Extremely satisfied with the quality, the install, the cleanup and the time element of the job.. Got the job done on the time frame promised. Then had them install a water softener and UV system in my home. and had the same professional experience. Highly recommend. using them!!!!
