Our office, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.
Each cleaning and exam visit starts with oral hygiene instruction. This includes showing patients and their parents areas that may be missed when they are brushing at home. Dental treatment is most effective if our patients understand the importance of properly caring for their teeth at home. We are proud to offer digital imaging for our patients instead of conventional x-rays.
We are proud to offer the Solea dental laser. With it, we can do a variety of procedures without numbing-(because who likes shots anyway?!). The Solea laser is the most advanced laser in the dental field today. It uses a special type of laser CO2 technology that scrambles pain pathways within teeth tissue to provide numbing from the inside, thus negating the need for local anesthesia ("shot").

My kids have been going here since they were little (over 10 years) and we have enjoyed our experience. They are great with the kids and families. There is no pressure to go any certain route just recommendations as if they were their own kids. It now feels like a great friendship and not a business relationship. If you get a chance check them out, they are great people.

We love Rocklin Kids Dentist and have been coming here for over 12 years! Everyone is so friendly - it's like visiting with friends and not going to the dentist! They are so gentle and careful with my boys and are sure to explain what they are doing so the boys understand (and me too). I cannot recommend them highly enough!

It was a great experience took our twins (3 years old) for their first visit to the dentist and they did a great job! Made the kids (and myself) feel so comfortable. They have hole staff did a great job explaining each step to the kids and making it a fun visit. The dentist did great and seemed to be gentle and was great at explaining things to me. The kids are looking forward to their next visit l!

My kids have been going to Rocklin Kids Dentist for a few years now and we love them! Dr. Crutchfield is so patient and gentle, but moves efficiently when my kids have been hesitant, so as to get the appt done quickly. The staff is very friendly and helpful, answering questions, etc. Today my 2.5 year old was there for his 3rd visit, but first actual cleaning and he was nervous, but the hygienist, Alicia, distracted him by talking about fun things and asking him questions, while she got his cleaning done and I was so proud of him for getting thru it without so much as a peep! I absolutely love this office. My girls have been coming to this office for 11 years. Everyone in the office is super professional at all times. Dr. Crutchfield is awesome with the kids. Amy at the front desk is always so helpful and patient with all my questions. We love Becky!! Becky is super fun and always encouraging my girls to stay on top of their dental routines.
