Before starting BlueSky Home Care & Transportation, I had a wonderful 38-year career in management with Dominick's Finer Foods. While working there I became friendly with an older gentleman named George who had just lost his wife of 65 years. George and I became very good friends and I soon realized just how lonely his days were.
BlueSky Home Care and Transportation is the ideal solution for seniors and others who need support to remain independent and safe at home. We understand that no patient is the same. That's why we create personal care plans based on your loved one's unique needs; we treat your loved one with the same care that we would treat our own family members.
Hourly care is available beginning with a minimum of a three hour consecutive shift. Our flexible caregiver hourly rates allow families to use our services as-needed. Many times our patients only need help with a few simple tasks. Whether it's morning on one day and the afternoon on the other, your care plan is designed around your specific needs and your schedule.
This service is for clients who require the use of a wheelchair. Our ADA-compliant vans have a custom ramp and are equipped with a Q-Straint wheelchair securement system which allows the client to remain safely seated in the wheelchair during the entire trip. This service is for individuals that are able to transfer into the car on their own or with the driver's assistance.
