Surf Smiles Family Dentistry is a locally owned and family operated dental practice. We believe that a great smile starts with you and that treatment is guided by your goals for your smile. Dr. Mark Warner, Dr. Madeline Warner, and Dr. Charles Hoeg are excited to serve the North County community. Our desire is to create an environment that feels like family. A root canal is a procedure that removes the decayed nerve (pulp) from the central part of the tooth. The canal is then shaped and a strengthened filler is placed. Following a recovery period, the patient will return for the placement of a permanent restoration. Surf Smiles Family Dentistry will work with each patient individually to discuss the details of your treatment and any possible alternatives.
Our in-office laboratory expedites the process of creating appliances and allows us to serve you in a more time and cost efficient manner. Our lab produces appliances for a variety of dental procedures. These appliances include Night Guards, TMJ appliances, Sleep Apnea appliances, Essix orthodontic aligners and others.
Surf Smiles Family Dentistry proudly employs the latest technology in dentistry, and uses laser dentistry for hard and soft tissue procedures. Laser dentistry can be used to correct many problems from uncovering partially erupted wisdom teeth to removing lip pulls in orthodontic patients. Lasers can also obtain small tissue samples in biopsy procedures to detect lesions or potential tumors in the mouth.

Called with a dental emergency and was promptly given an appointment. Dr. Mark and Dr. Madeleine Warner were professional and pulled my tooth. I am afraid of dentists and they made my experience pain free and I will be using them as my dentists. I would highly recommend them the service was outstanding.

This place is amazing. Doctor Warner really helps me a lot for my chipped front teeth. Making an appointment is easy they response me right away. Doctor warner is very accomodating and very friendly that, I’m so comfortable. He did a wonderful job! I would highly recommended this family oriented place.

If you are looking for a good dentist in San Diego county I highly recommend Dr. Mark, Dr Maddie and their staff! They were all super friendly and made us feel comfortable and like family the entire time! Dr Mark and Dr Maddie are even fellow New Yorkers like myself! So happy we found our forever dentists!

Dr. Mark and Dr.Maddie go above and beyond for their patients. The office definitely has a family friendly feel to it and the Dr’s are always checking to make sure you’re comfortable. I was able to get in for an emergency, examined, and treated all on a Saturday. (which was a plus with my work schedule) 10/10 recommend

This office is amazing! It’s always great choosing a family dental practice. All of the staff are great. I typically see Dr. Maddie or Dr. Mark and they’re always so attentive and gentle.
It’s challenging choosing an office when you move to a new area and finding trust in dentists. They always go above and beyond and definitely don’t try to tell you more then what’s necessary. I trust them and recommend this office when it comes to dental hygiene 🤩

I haven’t been to the dentist in WELL over a year and was actually having some concerns regarding my gums. Surf smile got me in the next day and the appointment couldn’t have been more perfect. I saw Dr. Mark this time and he was just incredible. We did the exam and X-rays. Then he reviewed all of his findings with me. Fortunately there was nothing alarming going on but he went above and beyond to reassure me and educate me on what dentists look for in X-rays that could be problematic.
