Dr. Dennis Haynes worked in this hospital almost fifty years ago while in veterinary school at Auburn University. In 2008, Dr. Dennis Haynes purchased the vacant East Point Veterinary Hospital property where he had worked forty years earlier with Dr. Tommy Little and Dr. Tom Williamson. He reopened the practice in 2010 after 35 years of ownership of the Compton's Veterinary Hospital in Cullman.
He continues to provide kind and compassionate care in the tradition of the many fine veterinarians that have previously practiced in this location. Generations of clients have trusted Dr. Haynes with the care of their pets, their farm animals, and their working animals since 1974. We look forward to serving you as well.

DON'T BRING ROTTWEILERS HERE OR 2 DOGS AT THE SAME TIME. I am giving this place a 1 star. Only because they did offer service. I have 2 rottweilers: female is 16 weeks, male 10 weeks and each visit was dreaded. My husband loved this place b4. That is why I have given them several chances. Each time is, "Omgosh they have tails...can't sell those puppies off mom and dad. OMGOSH they still have their dewclaws... Can't sell them puppies" Way to many opinions when not asked here. My male got only half the shots then they gave my female the rabies shot instead of my male!

Dr Haynes is very caring and compassionate. I have nothing but good to say about his clinic. I can honestly say money is not what he is in this business for. We were using a different clinic but they could not see our little man and I needed him treated that day, so I took him to Dr. Haynes that was a blessing. He immediatly cut some of his prescription dosages in half and changed his heart medicine. Our monthly cost for precriptions dropped from $168.00 down to $28.00. Mickey was being over medicated for about 10 years, he feels better and his still active at 13 years old.

They are such a wonderful and caring staff there. Dr. Haynes really takes his time with you and your pet when your in the exam room. It's literally like they are taking care of family up there. They also do not charge for an office visit just for what was done and medicine if needed. That's another thing that is great about Dr. Haynes office is they are reasonable and do not charge an arm and a leg for your pet to be seen. And if you lose a pet they are so kind and compassionate also. I know from experience.
