Dr. Bailey is originally from Bristol, TN, but has lived and practiced in Knoxville since 1982. She is past President of the Tennessee Board of Dentistry and active in local and state dental organizations.

I'm so grateful to have Dr. Bailey as my dentist. Recently, I had a toothache that came on very quickly and escalated over the weekend. I called their emergency number Sunday evening, and Carolyn answered promptly... I didn't have to leave a message and wait for a call back. Carolyn scheduled me to be seen first thing Monday morning, and called in a prescription to help with pain.
Dr. Bailey assessed my situation Monday morning and said that I would need to have a root canal. Carolyn quickly scheduled an appointment for me with an Endodontist, who successfully did my root canal later that morning

I moved in this area 28 years ago and had gone to 3 dentist through those years but I have been very impressed with Dr. Bailey. She is the dentist that I have been looking for all these years, honest , very professional and a perfectionist. The entire office is helpful and friendly . I am a healthcare provider myself and Dr. Bailey far exceeded my expectations. I am bringing my whole family here and I would highly recommend this office.

An amazing experience!!! I came to Dr. Bailey's office to get a "second opinion" after a disturbing case of false advertising from another dentist. What I found was a wonderful dentist who knows the latest dental practices and who offers what is claimed on their office’s website! Plus, most procedures, in my case, were more reasonably priced than the first dentist I’d visited. I’d encourage anyone to give this office a try! They are all so experienced! I truly feel that I’ve found a great dentist!

It truly made my morning walking into to Ruth Bailey's office for the first time today. The front staff was so friendly and welcoming and the fireplace burning was the perfect touch to a chilly fall morning. Every staff member I came across was just genuinely so pleasant. I met with Dr Sliger regarding some cosmetic concerns for my Wedding next year, and if I could give her more than 5 stars I seriously would. She genuinely seemed to care about what was best for me and it was so refreshing. I consulted with a few offices just to make sure I found a fit best for me, and Ruth Bailey's office is it

Every single person in Ruth Bailey's dental office is friendly and professional! I felt comfortable the first time I walked into the large, nicely appointed waiting room (which even has a big fireplace). My appointment was at 9.30 and that's exactly when it began. No long waiting. Each of the hygienists is personable and efficient. They really care about their patients. Seriously! Dr. Bailey, herself, is one of the best dentists I've ever had. Ruth Bailey put a crown on my tooth & less than a week later had to drill a hole in to relieve immense pressure. I have never been in so much pain. She was VERY rude to me and acted as if it were my fault. If she had taken the time to LISTEN to me she would have realized I needed a root canal. I ended up having a root canal (extra $1500+) plus the $900+ crown. After she drilled a hole in the crown it broke & she tried to make me pay for another one! Thank goodness the endodontist that did the root canal called her and told her she needed to do the right thing and have another crown made
