Services
There are several different types of services that you can choose when a loved one passes away. You pick the service that works best for you and we will accommodate your choice. A chapel service is usually held here at our funeral home, but can also be held at your place of worship. They last about an hour and they are usually conducted by a Rabbi or Cantor.
Thank you for the nice job that you and your staff performed for our family. Our mom, Anita, looked good and Charlene did a very professional service, as did Rabbi Weiner. For a death within New Jersey the family usually receives the death certificates within a week to 10 days. For an out of state death it can take up to a week longer. It is not usually appropriate to send flowers to a Jewish Funeral. The family may request that donations be made in the deceased's name to a favorite cause or charity.
We take pride in the fact that we have made our facilities a comfortable space, while providing a respectful and dignified space to commemorate the life of a loved one. Louis Suburban Chapel features a 400-seat Main Chapel, private family rooms, private funeral planning area with casket selection room and convenient on-site parking.

Life is challenging and when you lose a loved one having the right person cross your path is truly a gift. Christy Ann is that gift. She was there for me and my family during a very difficult time. Wonderful facility. No one wants to plan a funeral for their spouse at my age, especially during Covid, which has made everything harder, but Christy Ann and staff made an agonizing experience as comforting as possible. She guided me through every decision, including complex issues caused by varying levels of religious observance, and helped me create a loving tribute to my husband that was worthy of the life he lived. We had a beautiful service at a cost we could afford, in a beautiful setting with great attention to detail. I couldn't be happier with my choice.

When time came to arrange mom's funeral service unexpectedly, I was referred to Louis Suburban Memorial. At the funeral parlor I met with the funeral director Christie Ann, who was warm, sympathetic, compassionate and empathetic. I felt very comfortable talking with her from the beginning. I even had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Louis. Louis Suburban's prices are the best around, no one comes close and the service was second to none. I highly recommend.
