Wesley Chapel Academy is an educational academy specializing in preschool. Owned and operated by three former elementary teachers, it offers students a chance to build a strong foundation necessary for success throughout their academic life. Dawn Bender, Christel Phelps and Amber Burgess each taught in the Pasco County school system for over a decade.
My name is Dawn Bender. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor's in Business Administration. During my final year, I realized that I wanted to become a teacher. Subsequently, I went to Old Dominion University and received a master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I began my career teaching kindergarten.

I can’t express my recommendation for this school! We moved to the New Tampa area in the middle of the school year. I needed a VPK program for my child. I toured a total of three programs, one in Dade City and two In Wesley Chapel. Wesley Chapel Academy was my third tour, and I knew instantly this is where I wanted my child to attend. I loved the safe place they provided. I loved their education standards and outlines. I loved their learning thru fun and play. I loved the teachers and their passion. This school didn’t just provide a positive learning environment for my child, but a safe place

I absolutely love WCA! The creative and fun ways in which they teach keeps my son eager to learn and enjoying every second of it. After almost 2 years my husband and I still talk about how happy we are we chose this school over another we were considering. We are so sad to be leaving as my son moves on to elementary school. I highly recommend!

We absolutely love Wesley Chapel Academy! My son’s teacher Mrs. Fisher is wonderful with him and all of the other teachers have been great too! They send lots of pictures and communicate very well throughout the day. My son has learned so much while attending and has developed socially as well!! I really can’t recommend this preschool enough!
