I tried to set up an appointment but they asked so many questions and when I asked to set a date a time they wouldn't. They wanted too much information before they would give me an appointment. Most of the information they wanted was very private and I believe that info should not be handled over the phone. It should be handled between the doctor and the patient, not between the patient and some unknown person on the phone. I asked several times to make an appointment but the person on the phone refused. I believe the Doctor should handle the personal and private information.

Dr. Donohue and his resident psychiatrists are extremely helpful and I truly believe they have my best interests at heart. Unlike other psychiatrists, they weren't trying to push drugs on me and wanted me to be on as few as possible. Additionally, they were always friendly and seemed to genuinely care for my mental health.
Other than the excellent psychiatric care, Psychiatry Delaware offers a vast array of therapy options including anxiety, depression, and even sleep. It truly is a comprehensive suite with something for everyone. I will be sad to see it go when i move out of state this month

Just like another reviewer I was charged 50$ for missing an apt. My life right now is very very chaotic. I updated my phone number with them within the past 6 months. But they had the wrong # for me, a # I never heard of. So I never got any calls for my appt. And I have a 1 and a half year old and a lot of appt's for a lot of things. This is the ONLY apt I have missed with Andrew Donahue. Little over 2 years ago I had Delores as a therapist. This is when I was pregnant. I had hyperemesis Gravidarum which meant I was throwing up constantly, I even had a nurse come to visit me at home weekly

I really like Dr D. He's genuinely interested in you and making you whole.
He always remembers where we left off (even 3 months later), asks about me, my significant others (remembers them - what I've told him about them, etc..) He works with me to find the answer - the right meds - to help me with my depression. He is very knowledgeable about all the Rx available, the side-affects, etc... He's very personable and he often has his sweet dog, Chloe, in the office, which is a plus for me :-)
