Maryville Children's Academy excels at creating a secure and nurturing atmosphere, while providing an excellent environment for children to grow and learn at their own pace. Our educational programs are specifically designed to provide a variety of fun and unique learning opportunities with age-appropriate curriculums for children three months to five years.

The staff at Maryville Children's Academy works closely with children to build their vocabulary and self-esteem; enhance motor and life skills; teach sign and foreign languages.
Services
Founded in 1993, we designed and built Maryville Children's Academy for our children, ages 3, 4 and 5, in response to the extremely limited childcare options in the area. With family as our inspiration and exceptional care as our purpose, our journey into early childhood education began.

In the many years since we began this rewarding journey, our passion for early childhood education has continued to grow, as has the number of communities and families that we have proudly served.Recognizing the same lack of childcare options in Knoxville that that led us to open MCA, we opened Westland Children's Academy in 2006 and Ebenezer Children's Academy in 2009.
Elizabeth embodies the spirit of our Children's Academies. Her unique experience as a student, teacher, manager, director and now parent of multiple children at the academies! Elizabeth's face even served as the logo of the Academies for most of Maryville Children's Academy's formative years!

Beginning in 1993 as a Pre-K I student, Elizabeth and her siblings spent countless hours making memories at Maryville Children's Academy, both during and after work hours.

I love MCA and my daughter loves MCA. She has attended there since she was an infant and we have never had any issues. They have a great curriculum for each age group and the meals they provide are great. Highly recommend MCA for childcare.

Clean and well run. The gals that take care of our 1 year old are great and he seems to love being there.

My son, who is autistic, went there for a few months and it was the worst experience of his life. They give no personal attention to these kids. They are just a number. He was “expelled” for some bogus reason, but it was really because they just didn’t want to try. We then enrolled him at Broadway Baptist and he THRIVED!! Fast forward and he’s now a straight A student and a member of the Student Council. The only positive I can say about that place is they kicked my son out so he could go to a place that cared and loved him.

The facility is so wonderful. It is so clean and full of great learning toys. The teachers are all great with the kids/babies and are so knowledgeable about the age groups that they are teaching.

The faculty is beyond caring for my daughter and always loving to her! It's beyond clean and doesn't smell like a daycare. My daughter took a longer time to adjust and Jessie, Julie, and Ann were beyond understanding and patient. I am beyond thrilled with our experience and my daughter been with MCA for over a year.

We have had nothing but a great experience at MCA. Our 2 year old has been attending for over 6 months and loves going to school. He never cries at drop off and any time I have ever stopped in randomly, he is happy. The teachers are sweet and show concern for the kids. The facility is clean and they provide breakfast, lunch and snack. The teachers work very hard to do art projects and activities with the littles which I am sure can be challenging. The directors are approachable and responsive.

My experience with this daycare was horrible! The lady who owns and operates this school as well as two other schools did not have our children's best interest at heart and for me that's not acceptable. We were treated inappropriately and then our child was removed from the program, while our other child was on the waiting list for 8 months and was told they would have a spot after he/she was born. At the last minute, we were told that our second child did not have a spot because of a long waiting list and because I was taking 12 weeks maternity leave and that was the reason. This situation left

They have a very high turn over rate for teachers, my son was there 3 months and had 3-4 different teachers, He was part time and after paying and signing a contract they decided to enlist someone else in his class and told us that we couldn't bring him in on the days we needed because they gave his days away and were overbooked. They also never said anything about the bite marks and other injuries that he came home with and changed their opening/drop off hours with only 24 business hours notice. The teachers we met were really nice but it is poorly run and the administration seems not to care
