I had very bad experience with Vision World, Parkchester who charged for anti reflexive coat but didn't put in my glass. I have been wearing glasses for over 20 years, In that time I have gone to several stores to pick frames and get the prescribed lenses. For the most part, these experiences have been a struggle to get both great customer service from knowledgeable staff , and find a store with staff who knew how to service RIMLESS frames with PROGRESSIVE LENSES.
Occhiali is FABULOUS!
I recommend their rimless selection AND THEY KNOW HOW TO CREATE FABULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE!

They are professionals - they know what they are doing. They helped me choose a great pair of spectacles. I got the frame with the lenses the next day. It's quite expensive overall and they don't accept insurance. However, if you want a great quality spectacles, don't want to waste your time going to several shops and are willing to spend, this is the place to go.

I had the opportunity to shop at this sophisticated, well-appointed, urbane, yet beautiful store today. I was taken care of by a charming, knowledgable, very customer-centric gentleman, Ira. They had the exact frames that I was looking for. Ira spent a lot of time measuring my face and eyes to be certain that the glasses I purchased would fit me and work well for my vision enhancement. This store was a thumbs-up experience and I highly recommend it.

Occhiali is a small, intimate store that truly caters to the client! I went in and needed my glasses 5 hours later (with prescription) as i was leaving on vacation! NOt only did the have them ready, they delivered to my house! they are honest (will tell you if something doesn't look good) and have a great price range! if you are shopping in nyc for eyewear, this is a DO NOT MISS!

I went in here for the first time about 3 weeks ago. I just got a new Rx from my doctor and wanted to get new lenses put into my existing frames. The staff was extremely helpful and they were even able to get them made for me in the same day! I picked up the glasses that afternoon and brought them home. After about a week of discomfort and blurry vision, I went back to the store to see if there was a mistake. They rechecked my glasses and suggested that I go back to my eye doctor because they think the doctor made a mistake on the Rx. It turns out that my eye doctor completely messed up my Rx.

I have bought two pairs of eye glasses at Occhiali, and have nothing but wonderful things to say about this shop! The quality of the glasses is phenomenal, and I could not have asked for better service. Choosing frames has always been difficult for me, but with help from Susan, Ira, and Marshall, I have ended up with beautiful, stylish frames that also are a perfect fit for my face! A+!

When I was asked what I was looking for, I mentioned fun, unusual, and cited Anne et Valentine as a particular brand favorite (I had actually found Occhiali through Anne et Valentine's website vendor listing).

I walked out of Occhiali with the best glasses I have ever owned! What's even more impressive is the fact that they were the very first pair that the sales attendant/ owner picked out for me - she literally nailed it on the first try! Nevertheless she pulled a wide area of other interesting options so I wasn't at all pressured to go with the first option. Also, they were ready in A DAY! I love my glasses so much that I rarely wear my contacts!
