Furbish Group
Thanks for stopping by! We're Furbish Group and we believe home is a unique space to relax and unwind, to be surrounded by the people and things we love. It's the place we want to begin and end each day. Our objective when staging your home is to create that feeling for every potential buyer who walks through the front door.

Founded in 2012 to stage real estate developer Kathy Kuhner's homes, Kathy realized there was a need for home staging when realtors in the area began approaching her for help staging their upcoming listings. Since then we've staged over 700 homes, growing to full time staff of eight designers and installers and a 4,000 square foot warehouse full of unique and thoughtfully curated furniture and decor.
Services
A staged home allows buyers to visualize a vacant property as their warm and cozy future home. We specialize in full service vacant staging in the East Bay area, providing thoughtful artwork, accessories and furniture to showcase the unique features of each home. Our experienced creative team will strategize, measure, plan, source and install, transforming your empty space into an inspiring home.
Our contracts include 8 weeks of rental, installation and styling by our crew as well as removal of all items once your home has sold. Contracts can be extended as needed and the price to extend per month will be noted on your original contract. We're thrilled your home sold so quickly - must have been the fabulous staging you invested in!

I cannot say enough good things about Furbish. They have staged two homes for me in the past month and the transformation has been amazing. They turned one home with no character into a charming fun home. The other one they managed to take a dark home and make it a light happy place to be. They are up to date on the latest trends, pick great colors and are responsive and super easy to work with. They go above and beyond. I recommend them highly.

We selected Furbish on a recommendation from a colleague, met with Melanie to view the space and discuss the job. We spent quite a bit of time on the esthetic and quality of furniture expected and the type of accessories they would recommend. In short order got an estimate that seemed reasonable and scheduled them to stage.

And here's what happened:

- the couch was worn and had visible scratches, the pleather was soiled and coming and torn in some places (covered by a blanket)
- the armchair had a crack on one of the arms and unstable legs
- artwork, while appropriate for photos, was

I have a lot of love for Furbish! As a Grubb Co. agent, I think we have a lot of pressure to make things "perfect", and it has to compete with the sharks! I feel like Furbish helped me get the most $ for my listing at 33 Merriwood Cir., and they were always available to help with questions, concerns and make anything right that didn't go according to plan. They never wasted my tine, and worked how I like to work...FAST! My sellers were luckily willing to pay the premium for extremely "now" furnishing, art, and accents, and I feel like that is what pushed them into the

We LOVE Furbish. Everything about working with Furbish has been amazing - from scheduling, consulting on designs for installation, communication, and most importantly - their staging!!!! They are top-notch and I hope to be able to use them for ALL our listings in the East Bay.

Last home we sold was 25 plus years ago. And, I'm a couple years late in putting this review up.

We had a very short time from the decision to sell and going on the market.

We listened and took the agents advise - Hire a stager. Good advise - Wrong Stager.
"Olga is the perfect stager for this house.' Great we said. - Not the perfect stager.
Shock - She never spoke to us directly the day she came to quote the job. So, no customer service skills. But I tend to be lenient because everybody has a bad day. She didn't even introduce herself and never ever had contact directly

The Furbish Team is wonderful! Home style is their business and they always make my listings look expensive, relevant and fresh. They are easy to work with and make me feel like I am their only customer, which I know is so not the case. Thank you Furbish, you are such a talented crew!

Olga and Heather have been a boon to our real estate business. They are creative, stylish, reliable, interact well with clients. I am admittedly a bit of a perfectionist, and I greatly appreciate their drive to make sure a home is optimally presented, so that in the final analysis, everyone wins. Outstanding - looking forward to a long working relationship with them.

Very disappointed that they cancelled my job just 2 weeks in advance. Before that they changed the date.

As an agent, I've worked with many stagers and Furbish is awesome for the overall management, look and pricing that my sellers need. I was excited to see them come into the marketplace with a fresh look. I need stagers that take control, give solid consulting guidance on painting and improvements, are prompt, efficient and execute with the right look. The Furbish style is versatile ranging from uber contemporary to craftsman homes. Their pricing is also very good when it comes to the range of stagers for what you get. I happily recommend. However, I ALWAYS tell my sellers that, staging

Where do I begin on Furbish? They have been spectacular on each and every project they have done with us. As an architect, I have a high bar for the staging companies I work with, and Furbish has been the best, hands down. More specifically:

1. They had the utmost respect for the architecture that was developed, and

2. Worked to enhance the architectural statement

3. They were very fresh and creative (but not wacky)

4. They listened, and were very collaborative and responsive

5. Their material was of the highest quality.

Overall, they were a joy to work with To say that I very highly

I have seen Furbish do excellent work and that is why I selected them.

I was somewhat disappointed.

In my opinion, especially compared to their other work I have seen, the quality of the staging for my home was not as good as I expected.

The quality of the furniture they used were below my expectations: many of the items (couch, chairs, etc.) were dirty and others were scratched/damaged (table, coffee table, bookcase). They should make sure their furnishings are clean rather than trying to get stains out of the couch while staging or just throwing a blanket over them.

The actual selection

Big dissapointment-BEWARE!

I met with 2 stagers and liked the team from Furbish the best....I should have taken a second look.

After promising me the moon and the stars on what they and they crew could do for my home in the East Bay- They were over budget on improvments, ruined my hardwood floors and did not deliver quality funishings.

The colors they advised me to have my WHOLE HOUSE repainted looked like the colors of every other staged house in the area. My realtor had not used them before but assured me that they did good work. We both know differently.

They did not do good work- They were
