These are simple accommodations. The room was quiet, the bed was comfy, and everything was very clean. Parking was convenient and air conditioning was very good though not silent. There is also a setting for ventilating if you just want fresh air. We are locals and just needed a place to stay overnight. Friendly Hills Inn was a good choice for us. The price was very reasonable! Based on this stay, I would recommend this facility if anyone asked.

It has been remodeled but .... the ac in the wall has no fan speed control so full speed ahead , super loud and right next to the bed , the vent was broken as well ..... the cable tv was down so forget that ..... the tp holder was hanging on by a thread as was the towel bar .... the chair that you are supposed sit in at the counter is 6'' too high , so standing room only .... the coffee maker , one cup at a time and they supply two cups worth of coffee , cheapskates .... close to zero water pressure ... the bed was old and worn out squeaked .... the maid also left her half full laundry

Friendly Hills was a great experience. The room was clean and well set up. I stayed for 5 days for work and could not be happier. Check-in was easy and everyone was "Friendly". I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a clean comfortable place to stay. A lot food choices with in walking distance.

For the past 6 months I've been coming to the LA area monthly and have had a hard time finding a clean, comfortable, affordable room without noisy disruptive tenants and Friendly Hills did more than deliver. Has everything I need or want and the local area has a lot to offer. No need to search anymore, i will definitely be coming back each month.

I grew up in this area and had no idea it existed until to I had to visit for business and found this spot while searching the net.
I was very impressed with my over all experience with this establishment.
The person who assisted me was so professional, friendly, and efficient that registration was a breeze.
As stated in other reviews, the rooms are newly renovated and are very nice! Extremely comfortable bed and all of The USB ports you need!
I have already made reservations for my next trip in a week!

My boyfriend and I stayed one night on Halloween.The price is very reasonable, especially for the immaculate condition of the room we stayed in. When the man came to the window to check in, he wasn't the friendliest, however because I asked for an end room, he accomodated and found us the lower room next to the pool. He did warm up a bit after telling him that we always send our family and friends here that come to visit. He handed us the key, the internet password and we were on our way. The bed was SUPER comfortable, they had very nice blinds, no tacky curtains. The bathroom and the sink

My friend and I had a very nice experience with this hotel and their staff. The lady in the office was very nice and accommodated ya well. The hotel room itself was very clean and was organized well. Not to mention how cheap it was for a single night. If I ever come back to the area I'll definitely be staying here again 100%

This place was actually very nice. The room was very nice and looked recently renovated. Bed was comfortable. I slept well.
There's a Dominos pizza 5min away (by car).
The only negative situation I had was when I went to the front office to check in, I had to wait for quite a while before a lady came to assist me. She did not have the attitude for customer service that's for sure! And when I went to check out I waited at the window for about 10min while the man in there was talking on his cell phone knowing I was standing there.

I rented the room for my uncle. It wasn't a bad room. I didn't stay in it for too long, but based on what I saw and what he told me it was clean and well maintained. The reason why I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is because the pictures we saw online were misleading. Not all of the rooms are updated from what I'm guessing. I didn't like that we didn't know about this until we entered the room. I think the rooms were fine other than that. You can't expect much from an old school motel, but this was a lot nicer than most of the ones you'd find. Believe

Prearranged our stay online 2 weeks before our trip, the online system was easy to use and no deposit was needed-which is a plus.
We checked in at 10pm, check in was quick, and the staff was courteous.
Room was small, but clean and stocked with everything you need (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, coffee, all the essentials). Tv worked well. I couldn't figure out the wifi, but the passcode was provided at check in, so it was probably an error on my part.

I thought I had picked an ok place to stay while visiting my college daughter. The reviews were good and the pics looked like a remodeled safe and clean place. Was I ever wrong. The pictures must be severely outdated. This is s motel not an Inn. Not sure who posted the great reviews but our standards must be completely different.
The room was old and musty. The air con didn't ever make the room comfortable. I was so disgusted by the furniture, carpet and bedding that I slept fully dressed using my airplane blanket. I also did not take off my shoes when walking around the room.

We so wanted to like staying here. The campus and rooms are clean and nice, there are ,many wonderful perks that others mentioned like fridge, microwave, flat screen, etc. The price is very affordable. The owners clearly take so much pride in owning your own business and that is to be celebrated!
