I began my journey in the healing arts in 1997 at the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in Santa Fe. Several years later, while living in Maryland, I was introduced to the Japanese system of energy healing, Usui Reiki. I developed an eclectic style of healing utilizing Swedish and deep tissue massage, Reiki, and aromatherapy.
I have provided healing sessions for asylum seekers who were torture survivors through the nonprofit Advocates for Survivors of Torture and Trauma. As a result of my passion for working with this group of courageous people, I developed a training program for massage therapists to learn to treat clients who have experienced trauma and may not speak English and are acculturated differently.

Would you like to enter this holiday season embodying peace and gratitude? We will set our intentions for our lives, relationships and community. A soundbath follows, encouraging us to deeply integrate our experiences. Allow the gong, crystal singing bowls, antique bronze bowls, tuning forks and more entrain to your nervous system, bringing deep peace.
After a discussion of your intention for the session, I will lead you in a guided meditation. While you relax and receive Reiki healing energy, I will journey for you to bring messages from your spiritual guides and mine. This session can be very helpful in discerning your next steps, healing and letting go of stumbling blocks!
The word Reiki means "divinely guided life force" in Japanese. It is a gift of relaxation that promotes peace and healing. In this stressful time, Reiki can help us to move through the day with grace. Receiving the gift of Reiki is truly life changing in the best sense! In this class you will be attuned to this beautiful, gentle and powerful energy.
The Master class, available to those attuned to level 2 Reiki of any lineage, will take you even deeper into your journey of self-discovery, healing and service to others. The class will be held at the beautiful River's Ridge farm in Glyndon. Discuss class outlines and resources. You will receive the excellent Usui/ Holy Fire 3 Reiki Master Manual, which includes many resources for teaching and healing.
Allow the sound and vibration of the Himalayan and Japanese bowls to lull you into a blissful state before or after your Reiki treatment. I will bring my Himalayan and Japanese Singing Bowls, Hand Pan drums, Crystal Singing Bowls, Chimes and Tuning Forks to your gathering for a magical 60 minute sound bath.

I have known Margo for a while. She is a very well trained Reiki practitioner/sound healer. But her real strength lies in her humanity. She has taken the time to do the kind of intensive self improvement work that not many people are willing to do. She has taken the time to do self- healing So when you interact with her, you feel that you are in good hands and safe company.
